I love my new DVD. It's easy to use, great pictures. Wonderful price

I got this unit on sale for long car rides for the kids. It has withstood kicking feet, flying bottles, and being folded and opened over-and-over again. Definitely seems to be kid proof. Only downside is the harness provided to attach to the back of your car seat head rest. The picture on the box depicts two straps: One to attach around the headrest horizontally. The other to go over the headrest vertically. My unit came with only the horizontal strap to wrap around the headrest. It is secure but does limit how high you can attach the unit. Thus the kicking feet I mentioned above. Also, the harness makes it difficult to access some of the controls on the side of the unit. However, the entire unit is easily removed and the harness and dvd player fold up like a mini notebook computer to easily store under the car seat so 'bad men' don't steal Elmo!

Great sale price. Show's a nice picture. Replaces old 7'' player. Easy to use.

My kids use it while we are traveling on long trips or short trips. They thouroughly enjoy being able to watch movies onthe road with an extremely clear picture and great sound..

I bought this portable DVD player to use to play my exercise DVDs. I use it on a daily basis and it works fine.The screen's a good size and clear. It comes with a remote and a plugin for an outlet. My only negative is that I don't believe it uses the plug energy when on - it always uses the battery power. So after a while, it says it needs to be charged, even though it is plugged in. I then just have to turn it off and keep it plugged in to get charged. It's a minor concern though.

Great product. It kept our 1 year old quiet on our 7 hour trip during Thanksgiving. The battery did not run out the entire time. I highly recommend it.

I bought this for my mom for her birthday just today. She really loved it! Although, I thought it was a bit pricey that the 7" is $40 less than this 9" one. But this dvd player has great picture quality ! The sound is great and it's very pretty in white. I also love that it comes with the car mount thing. Even if you don't have a car, you can use it as a case, it wraps up the dvd player pretty well and it even has a little handle to hold it and straps for securing. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied.

I love that this DVD player has a 5 hour battery! I was lucky enough to get it on a special Christmas sale for $59.99 too! So my review reflects the sale price I got it at. It comes with both a car adapter and a wall charger too which is great. My kids love it! It has fallen a few times in the car onto the floor and it still works great. Very durable.

We purchased this for traveling. It met our expectations. We were able to overcome the volume isssue by using the car speakers. It would help to have pockets in the case to carry the necessary cords that come with it.

Bought it for my 9 year old. She loves it and takes it with her whenever we're going on a trip or going to have to sit around for a while. I've watched on it, too, and the picture is good, the screen size is great, sounds is good, etc. The seat attachment for the car - for it to strap into so the person doesn't have to hold it - works great.

I bought this for a portable dvd player for my car. The fabric holder seems a bit flimsy but seems to hold the player just fine. My two year old has put this player through the wringer and it is still holding up. The picture is very clear even in the sun and from side view.

I love it! It's really portable, and easy to use. And I like its design too.

The DVD player has a solid outside cover to prevent damage if dropped. Beautiful wide screen picture. Great color. This is perfect size for travel or to watch in bed. My father is in a nursing home and he can put it on his tray and watch movies either on battery or power supply. Has a car charger as well.

This player is one of the best out there. My son uses it constantly. We have owned several.

I bought 2 of these while they were on sale. They are great for all the formats they play for the price. Philips DVD products are just great anyway because you have the option of making them region free!! I have had problems with a few of my divx DVDs playing properly but I suppose that can be expected. One of the DVD players broke for some reason and the DVD door wouldnt open at all. It broke very soon after buying it, with only regular use nothing rough. Thank goodness for the 3 year geek squad accidental damage warranties I purchased! Geek squad is wonderful and they replaced my DVD player with no problem. Geek squad warranties are always worth the money and best buy has always done me right with any of my warranty replacements. I LOVE BEST BUY!

I purchased the player because of the screen size and the reviews were mainly positive. My son uses the dvd player every day with no complaints so far.

This portable Dvd player is just great for my grandchild. It is easy to use, with a 5 hour battery. The unit comes with everything you need, just pop in the Dvd. Glad I caught it on sale for $69.99 the week before Thanksgiving.

Got it for my mother for Christmas and she loved it. Battery life is great and the styling is great also.

Easy to use & worth the price. Sound / picture not so good. I gave it to my 5 year-old daughter and she was delighted to have it! I feel nothing is of more importance than your near and loved ones' happiness. Go, own it.

I bought this on black friday so it was a good deal. Nice picture, good size screen and it comes with a car mounting pouch which is a plus. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the remote control because is so thin and small, it can get lost easily. Overall it's a great product.
