Simple to use --with remote, compact, excellent picture, sound, & volume.

I got this product for Christmas and loved it! Unfortunately, after 3 months it just stopped working. It had not been harmed or damaged in any way. It just stopped reading discs. I returned it, and got another one, but the second one would not charge when I plugged it in. So I returned that one and got a 3rd DVD player. I've had it about a week, and so far so good. This would be a great product, but it is probably not very reliable.

Bough two of these units for a 17 hour car ride for my 7 and 5 year olds...love the DVD players, but the car mounting system is junk! Does not hold the weight of the unit...called Philips and they said there was NOTHING they could do to help me....basically, they lied on their package as the picture of the mounting system looks great - but that's not the system that was included! I will NOT buy from this company again....Best Buy, however, I will!! They are taking the return without a receipt and I paid cash for it!! Thank you Best Buy, hopefully I can find one that works before we leave on our trip tonight!!!!

I purchase this item as a Christmas gift for my daughter. It has been used daily since. We have not traveled with it yet so I'm not sure how great the battery life is but it serves it's purpose for now.

Great value for the price. I wish it had a removable and replaceable battery.

I got this so my 2 year old could watch movies w out taking up the tv. It stands the test of young hands, is durable and great quality!

I've had this player since February 2013 and use it several times a week for showing American Sign Language videos to Deaf Bible students. Both they and I are very frustrated with the slowness of this player. What I mean is it takes 15-20 seconds at least to move from "pause" to "play" or "stop" to "play", etc. This is the first time I've experienced such a problem with a DVD player, and believe me, I've used quite a few different styles and brands over the years. And this the exchanged player. I returned the first one because when paused in a scene and then hit play, the player would skip forward a few seconds instead of starting where I paused it, and I use "pause" a lot. Since the Best Buy associate told me I have a year exchange-and-replace warranty, I guess I'll try for a third one. This player's probably alright for someone just watching movies, but for someone requiring a lot of "pause and play", it's not so good.

Best quality picture and sound of portables I have used yet! Very pleased! The size is nice and it's light. Easy to use and decent battery. Would definitely buy this again!

Bought this over a year ago and has held up with two kids using it quite a bit.

I bought ths for my four month old granddaughter to watch Baby Einstein videos and it was a wise purchase. The color and clarity are wonderful and the baby is mesmerized! It has become the go-to for calming her.

I use it for an under the cabinet T V in the Kitchen, I thought that being a flat screen(hooked up to cable) it would have a sharper picture. It takes a longer than than I like between channel changes. But overall it serves my purpose!

I bought this 9" DVD player in Jan. 2015, and was immediately disappointed how cheap it felt. The open/close button didn't work unless you kept tapping on the top of the player while sliding the open/close button back and forth multiple times. This unit lasted 4 weeks before it stopped playing altogether. And, of course, I couldn't take it back by then. I ended up throwing the unit in the trash. Please don't waste your money; there are better DVD players on the market. I bought a Sylvania 10" DVD for the same $100 from Amazon that is a much sturdier unit.

The product is excellent to use to in the car and the audio quality is good.

The picture could be a little better. It seems just a litte grainy, but the price makes up for it. I recommend it for travel... definitely.

Got these for my children (11 and 7 years old) as Christmas presents. They love them! Comes with AC adapter and car charger adapter for use anywhere. Got it on sale at two for the price of one. Great deal!!

This does it's job and seems to be a good product. The kids sometimes have troubles with the sound through the headphones, the jack connection is finicky. Other than that, they like it.

My 6 yr old and my 3 yr old use this with ease. The quality of the picture isn't the greatest, but definitely good enough for the them to watch DVD's in the car or at home(when I'm watching football).

Couldn't be more pleased with the great Christmas sale at Best Buy. Terrific product at an unbeatable price.

This DVD player is great. Mine lasted just shy of 2 years to the date! I'm off to buy another one. I'm very pleased with this device.
