They also appreciate the easy setup, Alexa compatibility, and remote control features. Bright Hue Bulb for Reading

I have over 30 hue products, mostly color Hue bulbs. I wanted Lights to shine down on the Living room couch area when a little more light is required. Since these are double the Lumins of my other hue bulbs, they really do the job. I have Alexa routines to Turn On Dim Reading Lights, Turn On Reading Lights and Turn On Bright Reading Lights. (50%, 75% and 100%)

We have used hue lights for close to 10 years. Very happy with them overall. We had been wanting some higher wattage bulbs and these dont disappoint. They are MUCH brighter then the 60 watt. We have close to 50 bulbs plus other accessories, these were a great addition. Also love the 100 watt color bulbs as well.

    Bright Hue bulb

Much brighter and a little bigger than the broken four year old 800 lumen Hue White bulb that it's replacing. Definitely agree with the 1600 lumen rating, it appears to be twice as bright. The light quality is good with a pleasant 2700K color. It was easy to pair with the Hue hub and responds quickly. Hopefully this one will last closer to it's rated 25,000 hour life!

Buggy light/app experience. I couldn’t get it to update, and the app just kept rapidly connecting/disconnecting. It was unclear that this doesn’t work with HomeKit. Returned!

The brightest Hue I've purchased to date, and for a great price. The Hue ecosystem is reliable and easy to use. Setup is a breeze and it connects easily with my Google Home setup. I recommend this product if you need lots of light. Be aware this bulb is longer than a normal bulb, so it doesn't fit in some smaller lamps without sticking above the shade.

    Bright - Almost Perfect

I am so glad that Philips came out with a brighter hue bulb. It's the equivalent of a 100 watt bulb. It is noticeably brighter. The base is the same as a regular bulb. My two complaints would be the height, it's quite a bit taller and sticks out the top of my fixture and I wish there was more than one color temperature. It's the same color as the default color on the 800 lumen bulbs. Hopefully in the future Philips will update the colored bulbs and white spectrum bulbs.

Much brighter than the earlier generation that were limited to 60W. Only minor complaint is if you have a small fixture the bulb is pretty tall. Connected to hub easily. A little expensive compared to other brands.

We are heavily invested in the Hue eco-system, indoor and out. I like the 100 watt in our floor lamps, we don't need color in them. Much brighter than the 75w but also much more expensive.

Got these lights to replace another set of Hue lights that had lower lumens. These work great and are noticeably brighter (I'd hope so since they have twice the lumens of the previous bulb). Set up was super easy through Hue app and also was able to easily get it to work with Google Assistant.

Every light in my house is a Hue, but the most of the white bulbs I have are the 60W equivalent. This 100W equivalent is very nice and bright, and it is nice that they have added Bluetooth to the new bulbs. Overall I’m very happy with the bulb, but I feel that they are a little overpriced.

I generally like to give reviews on products I've owned at least for a year as I want the products I've purchased to be durable and thus, a one year period gives a good time frame to decide if the product survives the daily usage or not. I've owned a GE smart bulb prior to purchasing this one and I like the Philips smart bulb better as I've never needed to rest the bulb unlike the GE smart bulb where I seem to constantly reset it every few months. Pros 1. App controllable 2. Voice Assistant compatible (I connect it to Google Voice Assistant) 3. Easy to install 4. 1 year DurabilityTester approved! Cons: 1. Needs the Philips hub to work

Great light output with a nice warm color, and like other hue products work great with the hub. Downsides: - they are quite large, and barely fit in one of the fixtures I needed them for - they cannot dim like other hue bulbs, the lowest setting is still quite bright vs a more nightlight setting

As bright as a miniature star! This thing is probably the brightest light I have in my house, and its color and brightness make it look like a miniature start. I have it in the kitchen as there is only one light there so I want to maximize the light I can get from the socket and this does that prefectly.

Bought 2x of these after my lifx bulbs wouldnt reconnnect to my wifi after trying everything. These work on bluetooth instead of wifi, but they seem more reliable than the lifx so far. They are also alot brighter as well, while being cheaper. Would forsure recommend for bedrooms and smaller living rooms
