Love this. Works as advertised. I bought this just for Christmas and I love the mobility of it. You can move it to any room in the house and it works great. If you’re investing in this eco-system, I def recommend this as a first or second purchase. I bought the light strip, then the bulb, then this but still... first or second purchase for the hue is definitely recommended.

Love Hue lights and especially love these as the provide you with the option of mobility.

I'd give this 5 stars if the placement of the cord didn't make the stand somewhat tenuous. as a room on philips hue it's great for setting times for a reasonably independent 7 year old to know when it's time to read vs. go to bed, and still have light. He can also pick it up and carry it with him if he wants to go to the bathroom at night (or wander into mommy and daddy's bed) and still feel comfortable with some light.

This met expectations for the most part. Some highlights: Aspect that exceeded expectations: this does a better job of accenting a room with color than I thought it would. 2 opportunities for improvements: I was disappointed that the button on the back isn’t customizable. I’m also disappointed it doesn’t have the battery life for once per day charging. Unexpected use case: makes a great toy as my toddler loves playing with it.
