    We bought this to integrate into our entertainment area which is all set up to sync with the television though the Philips HDMI sync box. We tried two of these and both have the same issue in that they don't transition between colors smoothly. It's very jumpy and incredibly annoying when watching something. We'll keep one as a general use lamp, but we won't be using it for its intended purpose at all.

    The new Hue lights come with a battery backup witch makes the light nice.

    Loved this light giving one star less as when unplugged we have to tap the power button to connect to WiFi again

    Good not great. I feel the battery doesn't last as long as it should, other than that it works fine and look great.

    Love the light, but it is light on features compared to normal hue color bulbs. Specifically the color options are limited.
