Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK, so the lights work great when you’re connected to the hub and you have added it to your hue app however, if you don’t connect to hue app and use the lights  without the hue app. Then you have some difficulties trying to turn them back on. It seems though to try to turn them back on. You have to plug them back into the hardwire and then turn them back on. I found that if they’re not connected to hardwire, and you try turning them back on, they won’t turn on. Somehow they get locked off.

The item did not come with a serial number when purchased from Best Buy. Tried to connect it to the app wirelessly, and it wasn't being recognized. Was on customer service for more than an hour with Phillips about this issue, and they said there was supposed to be a sticker on the back of the lamp with a unique number to connect it. In short- will be returning.

I was unable to pair this to the hue bridge I have hundreds of hue bulbs and have never had as much of a problem that I had with this one. I am completely underwhelmed.

You can set different colors but only one solid constant color at a time which is disappointing that a lightbulb can do that but the lamp can not.

It will react with the rest of your Hue lights and be a pretty color, but it won't light up much around it. It's got a battery so you carry it around with you and that's neat! Still not worth the cash.
