I bought this just for Christmas and I love the mobility of it. You can move it to any room in the house and it works great. If you’re investing in this eco-system, I def recommend this as a first or second purchase. I bought the light strip, then the bulb, then this but still... first or second purchase for the hue is definitely recommended.

Some highlights: Aspect that exceeded expectations: this does a better job of accenting a room with color than I thought it would. 2 opportunities for improvements: I was disappointed that the button on the back isn’t customizable. I’m also disappointed it doesn’t have the battery life for once per day charging. Unexpected use case: makes a great toy as my toddler loves playing with it.
