Much NEEDED Upgrade to OneBlade Lineup

The Norelco OneBlade 360 Pro is a great gift idea for anyone who uses traditional razor blades or trimmers to shave or trim body hair. The unit body is built like a tank, it has waterproofing, and it's rechargeable with plenty of juice to last a shave. It can be used in the shower, sink, or anywhere you need a trim. Everything comes in a nice package with all you need to take care of pesky hair. There is a 14 length adjustable guard, body comb, skin guard for sensitive areas, and an additional blade to go with the bag and charger to get you started. The battery is rated to last up to 120mins and the easy to read battery display is useful! The unit motor seems to run a bit slower than the regular OneBlade I have, but that could be because the head is different as well. ALL the innovation in this model comes to the PIVOT ACTION in the head. This is what makes it worth the upgrade to me. The blades are rated to change every 4 months and shave almost as close as an actual razor without skin irritation. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a go!

I’ve been wanting to try one of these new trimmers that work like a razor because as a hairy person who saves every other day, buying razors can get expensive specially if I need to get a new one every two weeks. So far this product is meeting my expectations and it’s making happy! Sometimes when I shaved with an older razor, it would get painful around the neck, but since this works as a razor and trimmer, there is no pain! I have used this to style my beard and it was a little different than doing it with a normal razor, so I was a bit nervous at first, but after a couple days I got the hang of using the trimmer to give my beard the shape around my jawline. The battery is also great. I have use this almost daily for about 15 times and haven’t need to recharge it just yet. Overall, I am very happy with it and highly recommend it. I think I am going to give one to my dad for his birthday to give it a try. He also uses lots of razors, and I think this is close enough and yet is less messy!

If you are working from home all the time, it is probably a good bet that you don't shave every day. If you need a better way to trim down your longer than it should be beard, then there is a product that is good choice to step into that role. While I already have the basic OneBlade 360 Face, I decided to let my almost 18-year-old son take over that (since he just doesn't want to shave that often), and step up to the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Pro. The handle for the OneBlade 360 Pro is a nice size, just a bit bigger than the base model. It has the push-button on/off and a digital battery percent remaining display. Most of the handle is a lightly brushed metal look, but there is a textured rubber grip that barely reaches around the back corners. On the bottom, there is the charging port that the charging cord can plug directly in or can sit in the included charging stand (which is a nice idea, but with it only taking 3-5% per use, it may not be practical to keep out on the counter all the time). The blade on the new OneBlade 360 is very similar to the previous version, but now it has added side-to-side tilting along with front-to-back tilting with the idea to allow it to follow the contours of your face as you use it. While I understand the idea, I personally don't see any benefit (at least for the side-to-side portion) as it takes quite a bit of pressure to get it to tilt and it actually gets a bit uncomfortable (the corner areas outside the cutting blade edges will start to push into my skin). Maybe it could use less tight springs to make that more useable. For me, just a general guiding along my face to trim everything is all that is really needed. There is an adjustable precision trimming comb that goes from 10mm (a bit over 3/8") down to 0.4 mm (1/32") to keep your beard or sideburns at just the right length(s). This version also is useable on areas of your body that you would like to reduce the amount of hair. There are a couple attachments for the body trimming: a Skin Guard (for close trimming, almost full removal), and a fixed 3 mm click-on comb. While I do not plan to use it on anything below my neck, I did try the skin guard on a small patch of hair along my waistline (that I wouldn't miss), and it worked nicely and comfortably. Now, the main functionality of the face blade, the beard trimming/removal, is great! Now, it isn't designed to give an extremely smooth shave, but in my experience, it seems to get it down to a 10-12 hour shadow length. It works fairly quick, and as an improvement over my previous process, it doesn't really leave any missed hair (especially on my jawline and neck). I have used it several times, with the beard length ranging 3-4 days, which a couple of days done half and half for comparing the cut with the base OneBlade 360, with both having similar results, but it sounds like the Pro has a slightly different motor with a deeper sound. There is not an issue with the length of hair when removing it all. With using it as a pre-shave trim down, it allows me to get the final pass with my regular electric shaver done very quickly (about a minute). I did however notice during the first two times that I had a few spots on my neck actually start bleeding (like I had nicked myself with a blade razor), but it has been fine since. Even though the "360" aspect of the face blades won't be used (which you can get the non-360 replacement blades that will still work with the handle), this is still a nice system for helping with my shaving routine.

Best Electric Shaver I have had

With the COVD years, I was one of those men that stopped shaving regularly and grew facial hair. It was partly a new thing to try and partly just laziness. And once you grow it out, shaving even occasionally becomes an even bigger chore, its a self sustaining cycle. This shaver/trimmer though has made me like shaving again. It sounds cliche, but the ease with which I can get a clean shaven look from a full grown beard is a great trick to have in your pocket(bathroom). I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I did try it with shaving foam once, and that was a big mistake, unlike a razor once you glid this through the foam, the foam doesn't automatically come off with the blade, it just mixes in, so its really hard to gauge what's going on under there, if I am leaving patches or getting a good clean shave. It even left multiple little nicks which caused blood to drip out. I could not feel any of it at all till I wiped it off with water, but since there was still foam after multiple rounds on the same spot, I could not guage my pressure or work clearly. I don't blame that completely on this device, but perhaps shaving foam not the best idea with this. The biggest surprise for me though is that it actually looks better than a normal razor, again I am no expert in the art of facial hair shaving, but since you move this both ways, you are shaving both with the grain and against the grain simultaneously, giving you a cleaner look. I might have to do some research if that's actually good for me in the long run. Now, coming to the accessories and the charging. Every time I use the shaver, its battery drops down by 4%, since I always keep it on charge, I have not tested how long it will last me. But extrapolating that, I should get about 25 sessions without the need to charge. Its great to have a little LED display that shows you how much battery you have, rather than leaving you guessing. The charging stand is sturdy, but I wish the port for the plugging the charging stand to the wall adapter and the port for the actual shaver was the same, so if needed on travels I could just take the adapter and shaver without the stand, but that's not possible here. All the accessories are handy as well, especially the skin guard and the body comb. Youo can use them as needed to keep sensitive areas protected, and in my use it did exactly that, and still with a neat clean trim. There is also an included multi length comb, for precise size grooming.

Great trimmer for facial and body hair!

Philips Norelco is THE name in men's grooming products and has been for generations - and with good reason, they make dependable products for a reasonable price that WORK and LAST. I've had a Philips Norelco electric razer that (with a few quick and easy blade replacements) has lasted me for over a decade and still is in daily use - and it was an entry level model at the time! This trimmer brings all of that experience and quality into a more modern package designed for both facial hair and more delicate body hair as well. It comes with two blades and 3 different "combs/guards" - one for protecting skin while entirely removing hair, one with a fixed 1/8in length and one that's adjustable to a variety of lengths. These can be quickly interchanged or left in place. Of note, this is NOT a razer - it is not designed to leave a 100% smooth finish but more to remove longer hairs and will leave a small bit of stubble that you'll have to go over with a true shaver to get to 100% smooth if that's what you want - I knew and expected this. The trimmer itself is super compact and easy to use. It sits on the included dock and charges (via a physical connection, so the trimmer is NOT fully waterproof as the electrical connections for charging aren't covered) quickly - fully charged from empty in about an hour, but you can use it MUCH faster than that. A nice touch is that the included AC adapter can plug into the dock for home use OR directly into the trimmer itself so you can leave the dock/stand at home for a more compact travel kit but still be able to charge while you're away (for a longer trip). The built in display shows how much charge you have while charging and a low battery warning when needed. The lithium batteries hold a good charge and should last through quite a few trims before recharging, but that does depend on how long you use it each time. One of the nice things about this trimmer are the new blades. They have a SUPER amount of flex to them in all directions so they can assuredly trim at whatever angle you need them to - they do trim best at an angle which is clear on the packaging and in practice, but they WILL cut pressed against the skin too. They seem to have a coating on the "tines" of the serrated edges that prevents nicks and irritation. Even on delicate skin they removed hair easily and without irritation or cuts. The surface of the blade is roughened to help raise hairs for the edges (I think - at least that's what it seems to do) and the whole package works well together. So if you have grooming needs that require a good trimmer, this is a GREAT one to get - highly recommended!

Great trimmer, but battery life can be improved

I recently picked up the Philips OneBlade Pro and let me tell you, I've been thoroughly impressed with this trimmer. As someone who has both facial and body hair, I was on the hunt for a device that could handle both and the OneBlade Pro definitely delivers. The blade glides through hair with ease making grooming a breeze. I'm also glad that its waterproof, and being able to hop in the shower and get a grooming session in has been a game changer for me. However, there are a couple of things that I wish were different. I would have liked to see a longer battery life, for one. Don't get me wrong, an hour of charging time is fine and dandy, but it might not be ideal for some and I certainly do feel like it can last longer. I also found the attachments to be a bit flimsy for my liking. I like my grooming tools to feel solid and durable, but the OneBlade Pro's attachments seem to be of a cheap plastic just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Besides these concerns, I'd still say that the Philips OneBlade Pro is a solid investment for your grooming routine. The smooth flat blade, waterproof design, and rechargeable battery make it a great choice for anyone looking for a versatile and convenient grooming solution. Despite my minor gripes, I'm happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

This trimmer works amazing! I bought it as a gift for my husband, and he says that it is by far the best trimmer he’s ever used. The design looks very sleek, and the charging dock/stand is incredibly handy. He also loves that the battery percentage is displayed on the front. 10/10 would purchase again!

Hands-down the best electrical shaver/trimmer/clipper/razor you can get.. Shaves just like a regular razor without cutting your skin and giving you irritation.. Works with shaving gel and foam and works underwater as well.. The extra heads can turn it into a clipper or trimmer as well... Honestly I don't think I'll ever buy anything other than this one

So far, I have shaved twice with this razor, and can report little to no irritation. The hair on my neck has different textures and some areas swirl and switch direction, so most electric razors leave entire areas of irritation. I also shave my head using a Freebird head shaver. Occasionally I can get away with the head shaver on my face, but rarely without irritation. My go-to regimen was the head shaver, followed be a finishing touch with a single blade handle razor. Works, but timely and inconvenient, which usually defeats the purpose of getting a quick shave. Using the one blade has drastically cut my time and discomfort down. I’ve used dry for a quick touch and with foam for a full shave. Both instances were smooth and drag free. It also gets close enough that it qualifies as an actual shave and not a stubble trim. Also, rarely did I have to do more than one pass. The result was the same on the usage on the body; smooth and snag free. The guards are perfect for quick trimming at different lengths which eliminates the need for my other trimmers with guards. Less space to take up with the same function. I can’t speak on the time for shaving, but after each full shave, there was still 99% battery left, so I assume we’re on point for lifespan. I cannot complain at all. My only wish is it could be used on my head, then I’d be a one razor kinda guy, but alas, I’ll take this combo for getting the job done with no irritation and very little time.

    Great All-In-One Shaving Tool

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have never favored electric shaving products for the face over that of a traditional razor. The Philips OneBlade Pro changes my opinion slightly as it is the best all-around electric tool I have used on the face. With that said, I still prefer a razor for clean shave applications but I will be using the OneBlade for my facial hair trimming needs as it does a few things very well. In the Box: - Cordless Shaver - USB Charging Cord w/ Wall Adapter and Charge Stand - 360 Blade for face - Blade for body - 14 Length Comb - Body Comb - Skin Guard - Soft Pouch Usage: As I mentioned, I am typically not a fan of the electric shavers for the face as in the past I have not had good luck. This product seems to change my opinion slightly as it works well for some cases and others I still prefer the good ol fashion razor. The big benefit of the OneBlade system is that it can be used for face and body to eliminate the need for more than one tool (in theory). I like the fact that this shaver is somewhat small when it comes to a battery powered tool. The pro is noticeably larger than the smaller OneBlade. The size does hinder control and maneuverability a little vs the smaller counterpart but still very good overall. The runtime is great so no need to recharge after just a couple shaves. I really like the adjustable guard that allows you to trim facial/body hair without the need to get out a secondary tool as long as you have 10mm hair or less. Take the guard off and finish up around the edges and the rest of the face/body you want clean (ish) shaven. As a whole, the OneBlade system is one of the best tool systems I have used for multiple purposes. The only downside is the blades can be a little pricey but if they last longer than a typical razor, this should even out in the long run. For the clean shaving aspect, I still plan to use a regular razor. Overall: The Philips OneBlade Pro has changed my opinion (slightly) about electric shavers. Typically, I have shied away due to the lack of being able to get close shaves, being bulky, and not being able to use them for other purposes. The OneBlade Pro does all of this fairly well. I still prefer a regular razor for clean shaving but this tool is great for maintaining certain facial hair around the body in conjunction with the face.

    Much Better Than I Thought

My wife and I somehow managed to break the hair trimmer that we use to cut what little hair that I have left. When I saw this item and read some other reviews, I decided this might be a good replacement that allowed for more than just the singular task of hair trimming. We also got the "upgraded" Pro model that has several attachments that further its capability. Solidly built with rechargeable battery and stand makes it feel worthy of its price. It also comes with a cloth bag to keep everything together. The "360" blade initially looks rather small, but in use gets the job done. Both sides of the cutting head are used which doubles down on the cutting effort. As a hair trimmer it works really well. Using the trimmer attachment, you can dial in the length of the hair to be cut. I don't have a beard or mustache, but I would assume it works just as well. As an older user, hair seems to be growing everywhere (ears, nose, etc) and this thing makes quick work of eliminating them. It also has a "personal area" attachment to prevent nicks in really bad places, but I would strongly consider having several replacement cutters for those "other" areas. To end out, the OneBlade Pro is an excellent replacement for large hair cutters and "small time" trimmers as it replaces all of these plus does a better job. Highly recommended.

The OneBlade shaver/trimmer is a good trimmer that will treat you well. There a few quirks you’ll need to get used to when you start using it, but overall, it’s an excellent device. This one has a metal body with a fancy battery indicator on the front. There is also a charging adapter and stand that the standard model does not have. The body of the razor is not as grippy as the other version of this razor, but I did not find that to be an issue when using it. The Pro model does not seem to have any more power than the standard model, the function seems to be exactly the same but with nicer accessories. This model bogged down just as much as the green one, not exactly lawnmower levels of torque. The blade does not cut through thick beard hair without multiple passes unless you use the combs to knock down the length first. I tried it out without trimming first and it was a little grabby and bogged down, once I added the comb and shortened everything, it had a much easier time cutting. The blade is small -think cartridge razor width- so it might be worth planning an uninterrupted evening if you’re going to try to take yourself from Robin Williams to The Rock with this shaver. The blade cuts both with and against the grain as long as the hair is short or fine, very handy when you’re working around a goatee or similar facial hair. The cutter head/blade assembly when used bare seems to fling teeny hairs as far as it can, like some sort of razor challenge to cancel it’s own time saving nature with your following obligation to clean up after it. It’s not the end of the world though, most trimmers I’ve tried have also been hair flingers. When using the combs however, the aforesaid flinging is kept to a minimum. Regarding clean-up, rinsing the blade with lower water pressure seems to not work very well. I had to use hot water for rinsing. I think the pivot assembly holds plenty of teeny hairs as well, so make sure to rinse that part too. Perfect for trimming around your beard and especially handy for moustache trimming. What I used to do with tiny scissors I can trim now in about 10 seconds with the OneBlade. I think I’ll keep it.

A great razor / trimmer for home or travel

I’ve used a OneBlade razor as part of my travel kit for about five years. I appreciate the small size, long life between charges, and included attachments. My only complaint about my previous OneBlade was the clip-on accessories (e.g., beard trimmer) were fixed in size, not durable, and tended to come off while in use. This version fixes this issue with an adjustable trimming blade that locks into place for use. This attachment is sturdy and simple to use, with a numbered dial reflecting how close you want the trimmer to cut. The dial is easy to use and simple to read. Charging the OneBlade is easy, as it comes with both a charging cable and a stand, and you can charge it either directly from the cable or using the stand. I leave the stand at home and use it for charging there. When traveling for weeks at a time I have never had to charge it. Another appreciated feature is the new swivel shaving head (at least it’s newer than my original model). This head pivots around your face, and I even use it to trim off ear and other unwanted body hair. Whatever you’re trying to shave off, this will handle it. Whether you’re looking for a travel razor of one for your home, this is an excellent update to a product I already rely on. I strongly recommend this.

I have tried many different hair trimmers to maintain my beard and body hair and i absolutely love the Norelco OneBlade 360. Not only does it give an incredibly close trim, it also is incredibly easy to clean and maintain. I have yet to have it jam or get clogged up with hair like other trimmers do. With the skin guard on you can get an incredibly close trim without worrying about knicks or cuts. So far, i have used the Norelco OneBlade 360 for trimming my long the thick beard, touch up my hairline, and even a little 'manscaping' and it has performed wonderfully with each of those tasks. With the includded adjustable length guard. I can keep my hair looking barber fresh for weeks longer than i could without. For body hair, using the skin guard makes it easy to really trim back the bushes without having to worry about knicking yourself in any sensitive areas. I also love the fact that it is waterproof and can be used dry, wet, or lathered. This makes trimming certain areas that much easier and helps keep cleanup to a minimum.

The Phillips Norelco OneBlade Pro is a fantastic trimming system. Whether you are trimming your beard, going for a close shave or trying to get a nice straight line, the OneBlade Pro has you covered. The blades are replaceable and are said to last up to four months with 2 full shaves per week. This kit comes with 2 blades so you should be good to go for at least 8 months. The build quality is great and charge up time is super fast. I have been using this trimmer to maintain my beard and it has worked very well. It gets super close to clean up the neck area, makes nice straight lines when I need it to and is just an all around work horse. At first, I thought there was no way this trimmer would get close enough but it certainly does. I have always used a traditional razor and shaving cream and was pleasantly surprised how close the OneBlade gets. Overall, the OneBlade Pro is an excellent system. I have been enjoying using it and I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a quality hair trimmer.

Prior to receiving the OneBlade 360, I had a traditional razor, an electric (battery-powered) shaver, and an electric (battery-power) trimmer. The OneBlade seemed intriguing given its promise to trim, edge, and shave, so I was looking forward to trying it out. Ultimately, I cannot help but think that this is a tool that tries to be a jack-of-all-trades and winds up being a master of none. To begin, I figured I would try to use the OneBlade shaving (as opposed to using my traditional razor or electric shaver). The directions that came with the OneBlade indicated that the blade does not actually touch the face, meaning that it does not provide a close shave like a razor. The OneBlade leaves a some stubble (albeit very, very short stubble). The "blade" is held flat against the face and trimming occurs "across the grain." The OneBlade worked very well in this respect, but it is pretty clear that this is not an every day type of shaver. As a matter of fact, there is a smartphone application that you can use to help determine how long the blade will last. While the blades are marketed as lasting two months, that is based upon using them only two to three times a week. Additionally, I spent several minutes trying to connect my OneBlade to the application via bluetooth only to realize later that the OneBlade 360 is not bluetooth enabled. (Not a big deal as the bluetooth functionality is there to let you know when to replace the blade, which is easy enough to figure out as there is an indication strip on the blade assembly itself.) Anyway... Will the OneBlade replace my razor or electric shaver? Unfortunately, no. So next are the grooming and trimming attachments. Prior to the OneBlade, I used a trimmer with a guard for cleaning up lines on my sideburns and for managing body hair. In comparison the OneBlade is a disappointment. While there are quite a few nice attachments for trimming hair of different lengths, longer hair seemed to clog the blade very easily and keeping the blade clear/clean was not very easy as the hair became clumped in the guard. Additionally, I found it very difficult to "edge" and generate clean lines, especially compared to my razor or my trimmer. The directions tell you to hold the blade perpendicular to area you want to edge, but I found that somewhat difficult given the way the device is built and, even when I did hold the blade perpendicular, I have difficulty obtaining clean lines. There is no way the OneBlade will be replacing my trimmer anytime soon. With all that in mind, one may wonder what features contributed to more than a single-star rating. The unit is battery powered, compact, and easy for traveling. When I am on vacation where I do not shave every day anyway, this OneBlade will be perfect. The fact that the blade does not make actual contact with the face means the shave is not as close as a razor, but it also means no nicks, cuts, or razor burn like one can experience with a traditional razor. In comparison to my electric shaver, this unit is much smaller and easier to throw in my carry on. It is also waterproof, so it can be used in the shower or rinsed off with ease. (The blade is supposed to work either wet or dry, although I found more success when dry than wet.) One interesting facet given the rechargeable nature of the unit is that it uses a proprietary plug, which does diminish the utility when traveling. If you need to charge it, you will need to bring the charging base with you. (A universal USB-C charging interface would have made a lot more sense to me.) Personally, the OneBlade has some utility and I will continue to use it at times when I do not need to be clean-shaven from day-to-day. Beyond that, however, I will continue to use my electric shaver for trimming and edging and my razor or electric shaver when I need to be clean shaven (for work, typically).

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
