A nice improvement
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The beauty of the OneBlade pro isn't the handle you get rather it's the blade. Unlike the original OneBlade design, the new 360 blades now have a “floating” design rather than just pivoting back and forth. While it appears the actual blade design hasn’t changed, the new 360 blades seemed to give me a closer shave since the floating design makes it easier for them to stay flat against your skin. I find that they work better for me when I have a couple days' growth. This OneBlade Pro is marketed as face and body which basically means you get two additional guards in the box. I regularly shave my head and the OneBlade seems to work better on my coarser beard/mustache hair rather than on the denser finer hair on my head. I also find that while the OneBlades are designed to both shave and trim, while using them to trim my beard works just fine, the blades are not as aggressive as my Norelco clippers and it does take a few more passes to achieve the same effect. It does make traveling easier though, only packing one device rather than two. When it comes to OneBlade handles, the decision to choose one over another lies with what attachments come with them. The OneBlades work the same regardless of what handle you have them attached to. This Pro handle comes with an adjustable trimming comb with 14 length adjustments. Other handles come with a selection of individual combs. This also comes with two body attachments, which both work well. This Pro model has a digital display to show the battery charge level. A nice touch but a low battery light serves the same purpose. This Pro model also comes with a second blade but it's one of the originals rather than the newer 360’s. It says it's for body trimming but know that again, the only difference is the floating action and they are interchangeable. I would have rathered two of the 360’s rather than one of each. The OneBlade Pro ships needing charged. From a full charge, a quick shave seems to use about 2% for me. I would expect to get at least two weeks or more per charge. I give the OneBlade Pro 360 five stars and would recommend it.

OneBlade to do it all
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned OneBlades since the first model came out. I thought it might be a good solution to shave my head and trim my beard. I wasn't disappointed, it did all that with ease. This is my third OneBlade and I can already say that it's even better than the previous models. The idea behind the OneBlade is a brilliant one: Combining the efficiency of a traditional razor with the ease of use of an electric one. The blade is flexible and glides on the skin like a charm. Its relatively low weight and its size and shape makes it really pleasant to use. This "Pro" model is even better than the ones I have owned. There is a charging dock and a display that shows you the charge on the razor itself. The 360 blades allow for even more comfort while shaving as it can handle the rougher contours of your face (and head if you shave your scalp as I do). One of the things I have always liked was how long you could use the razor without having to recharge it and the Pro model is no exception. Another feature that I really appreciate is that the blades slowly change color and turn green when they need to be changed, allowing you to purchase new ones before they're dull. The attachments that come with the OneBlade Pro are great and should cover just about any scenario. I could go on and on about how much I love using the OneBlade Pro. To me, it's the best trimmer/razor combo I have ever had, by a long shot. The only negative aspect is the price of the replacement blades which is rather high. They do last quite long though, and if you clean them after use, they will remain sharp a little longer. Also, if you've grown out your hair a little too much, you might have to use a trimmer to chop it shorter before you clear it with the OneBlade. The bottom line is this: I have never had a better razor able to do everything I need it to. I highly recommend the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Pro.

Good performance, design, functionality
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had a few electric razors over the years and, until I got the OneBlade, I had at least 2, if not 3, in my bathroom drawer for various purposes. So far, the OneBlade replaces most of them, but not all. First, let's review the small set of drawbacks I've found: * Charger is an 8V charger w/ same connector as previous Philips "compact" trimmers - so be careful, if you intend to keep around other chargers, it won't work with them and the others won't work with it despite having the same connection plug. This is confusing and they could've done better here by either charging w/ standard 5V or creating a different plug. * Snap-on attachments are confusing and cumbersome to get into place. Instruction sheet comes with Ikea-like photos of how to do the process which leave quite a bit to be desired. While I typically hate being told to go to YouTube to learn how to use my new thing, this is one instance that could benefit from it. * Shaving *with* the grain of your hair doesn't deliver a close shave at all Now the good: * When used in a "back and forth" motion it does delivers a *very* close shave. I'm really impressed by it. * I've used on face and pubic areas with great success, no bumps afterward * Wet performance is as good as can be - ideally you don't want to be shaving wet hair, so I don't do this often and only when "refreshing" my trim but never on long growth * trimmer length adjustment is easy & straightforward. * Bonus carrying pouch * Love the stand charger & that it is merely an extension of the plug so I don't have to take a bunch of extra stuff if I do/don't want to stand-charge wherever I'm going * Battery life is really good, I've used it minutes on-end and only down to like 96% so it'll last quite a while if you take it w/o charger on a week-long trip.

An all-in-one face and body trimmer for on the go.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro takes the OneBlade system to the next level by including a trimming guide with 14 length settings to cover not only the hair on your face, but on your body as well. The Pro also includes a Lithium-Ion battery that offers up to 120 minutes of run time on a single charge. This razor is slightly larger than the OneBlade razor, as it includes an LED display on the front to show charging percentage and also a larger head to accommodate the multi length attachment. The OneBlade Pro also has a plug in charging base, that the main razor can be stored in, while charging. That runs off of a regular household outlet, and not a USB cable like the smaller OneBlade. The whole kit includes 1x 360 blade for the face, 1x blade for the body, the handle with the LED display as mentioned, the 14 length adjustable comb, 1x body comb, 1x skin guard, the charging base, a power adapter and a soft pouch to hold everything. It really is a complete system here. You can use the OneBlade Pro either wet or dry. My first time using it dry, after having wet shaved for years, I ended up nicking my neck, something I haven't done in years. So since then, I have used it wet, with a little shaving foam. It does a decent job, it's not as close as a regular wet shave razorblades, but it does a decent job. I have found that you do have to go over spots several times, especially on your neck. Cheeks aren't too bad, typically it gets them taken care of in one or two passes, but the neck was 4-5 passes to get a closeness I wanted. The blade is not a full 360 blade as may be assumed by the packaging. You can shave both direction, up and down, the blade does pivot, and it rotates to some degree, but if does not rotate 360º if that is what you are expecting. The complete unit is waterproof, meaning that you can use it in a shower if you wanted as well. That makes it convenient to use in multiple places. The 14 length trimmer included with the Pro model feels a lot more substantial than the one that comes with the OneBlade base unit. I would have a lot more confidence using this trimmer on the Pro model. The length settings range from 0.4mm to 10mm, so a good variety of lengths to choose from, for both your face and your body. Overall a nice, compact razor for every day use. The blades have a 4 month rated lifespan based upon a shaving cadence of twice per week. And they do have a wear indicator on them in the shape of an eject button that shows up on the blade when it's time to replace the blade. A powerful full body trimmer, good for on the go, in the shower, taking care of trimming, shaping or removing that beard, with the added ability to take care of your body hair as well. A nice product.

Bigger, Better, Brother, trimmer Blade
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I now have both of the Norelco OneBlade 360 trimmers (OneBlade 360 Face and OneBlade 360 pro). I use each one of them for different tasks at which both of them do a great job essentially compared to a traditional blade. The OneBlade pro is my all around go to and is the most universal for all my needs. The OneBlade 360 pro is the bigger, better, brother to the OneBlade 360 face which is more of a quick detail or travel blade. The 360 Pro is a jack of all trades blade. Out of the box you can tell the immediate difference in build quality as the 360 Pro is substantially more hefty and feels more durable and comfortable in hand. It has a bigger diameter handle with a metallic gray and black color which also comes with an led digital battery display… huge plus on that from the 360 face. Included is a charger stand which the handle easily sits in to charge while not in use… another plus. Housed in the handle is an upgrade from the 360 face NImh battery to a lithium ion battery that is described to last up to 120 minutes of use. I rarely ever get to the last bit of energy of a battery as I try to extend the life of batteries by charging them fully after extended use. The lowest I usually get to is about 20 – 30 percent before I allow a full charge. I have great experiences with batteries lasting well beyond their life expectancy by continually keeping them in good charging condition. The 360 Pro comes with a small storage or travel bag, a variety of easily click on guards for different uses (face, body, sensitive areas). It has a 14 length adjustable comb guard that I love for changing the style and length of my beard/goatee. It clicks easily between lengths and allows for smooth trimming without catching on the hair. There is two other click on comb guards for body and sensitive areas to trim or manscape without the fear of nicking those sensitive areas. There is also an additional blade included to extend the time before you must buy additional blades. The blades are said to last up to 4 months before having to replace but I’m sure that depends on the individual’s hair type and trimming habits. I am sure the blades last longer than traditional blades which is one reason why I have this trimmer. The blades themselves trim very well and flex/move with the contours of your face and body. The markings on the blade handle I’m not sure what they are for other than marketing of the 360 nomenclature of the blade. All in all the 360 line up does a great job with trimming, edging, and manscaping. It is not for the baby face shave of a traditional straight razor, but it is a jack of all trades blade trimmer for the time and budget conscious consumer.

Top dog of the OneBlade lineup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OneBlade Pro 360 is the top-of-the-line that Philips has to offer in their popular OneBlade lineup. It's an all-in-one solution: shave, trim, edge - yes it can all these. Facial vs body hair - got that covered. But then the sibling OneBlade 360 does that too. Having both of them, I have been reaching out for the Pro model, and let me tell you why. Besides the new “360” blade made for facial hair and the regular blade for body, the OneBlade Pro comes with an adjustable comb that has a whopping 14 length settings. This comb, which has a very nice rotary dial to hone in the length, can go from 0.4mm to 10mm. I also like that the dial tells the actual length in mm instead of numerical steps which sometimes makes things confusing. This comb + 360 blade combination is easy and satisfying to use and I have become my daily driver for beard trimming. For shaving this is fine as well, but if you are planning to work with an overgrown beard, the OneBlades, in general, may not be ideal - a regular razor is much easier. For regular “maintenance” however, the 360 Pro works like a charm. For body hair, a regular OneBlade can be coupled to a body comb (which is around 3mm) or a skiing-guard for those sensitive areas like the groin or armpits. They are easy to snap-on and off and work as intended. The set comes with its proprietary wall charger, and a charging stand. The charger can be used without the stand, but the base provides a good way to set things up in the vanity area. At this age, however, it’s a bummer that Philips still has it’s proprietary charging cables instead of opting for USB-C type stuff. The actual handle is ergonomic and not too big. A digital display shows battery level when operating or charging which is fantastic - now I can anticipate how much juice the unit has instead of making guesses and getting stuck midway. A useful feature I found is that the unit can be locked for traveling, so it cannot be turned on accidentally. And to round things off theres a cloth pouch that holds all these securely. Compared to its baby brother, the OneBlade 360, the Pro feels more heftier and to me more balanced at the price of being a bit larger. The wall charger and the digital display are plus as well. But the most useful thing liked with the Pro is the aforementioned 14 length adjustable comb - it’s more versatile and better built than what came with the regular version. For day-to-day home use the Pro version is the one to get. But for travel, the regular version has enough capabilities while being smaller and lighter.

Best for on the road trimming
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Philips Norelco OneBlade Pro The Philips OneBlade 360 Trim, edge & shave Pro works well as a trimmer. As for shaving, it doesn’t get close enough for my taste. I think they are going for the stubble look that is popular today. It states the blade will last for about 4 months, but that assumes shaving every other day. I can not get away with that, I shave every day, or I end up looking rough. The blade has a wear indicator so you know when it’s time to replaced. It comes with an assortment of attachments that allows you to pick a length you like. They range from the standard short to a multi set comb that goes from 04 to 10. It had a very hard time with my beard hair. The distance between the stationary cutting blade and the moving blade is very small. My facial hair is right on the edge of being too wide to fit in the cutting area. For body hair, arms and legs, it is great. The finer hair on those areas fits the blade well and it is very efficient at cutting that hair. It recharges with a charging stand that is included and comes with everything needed. The trimmer handle shows the charge state while charging and then again when you use it. You will no longer run out of battery power in the middle of trimming. I have used it 4 times total. Once dry as indicated you could do. I do not recommend doing this unless you’re used to a dry razor running over your skin. The next 2 times was just beard trimming and it worked fine both times, although it took longer than I would have liked. The last time was wet with shaving cream. I like this the bast but again, not a close shave. More like a close trim.

A different kind of shaver that works great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used Norelco shavers all my life and this is a very different product. It is more of a cartridge razor that works great. The product comes with a charging stand and charged in less than an hour when I received it. It has a digital display that lets you know how much battery time is left which is a great feature. I have both a beard and open skin area to shave so I need something that can shave both. I have always had to use my Norelco shaver and a trimmer to do both but with this shaver it does both. There is an attachment with 14 positions for length of the beard that works great. Without the attachment I can shave the skin area and although it doesn't quite shave as close as my Norelco 9500 shaver it does a fine job. Probably about the length you have after several hours after shaving with the 9500. It takes a little getting used to as the direction you move the shaver will produce different results. It also comes with an extra blade as they say they should be replaced every 4 months and they apparently let you know when they need to be changed. The shaver is light weight and easy to hold and use. The ease of use and the fact I don't have to use 2 different devices for shaving and trimming is a real plus and I have been using this shaver now as my primary shaving solution. Great product and I would highly recommend checking this out.

Very close shave with great precision.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At first I was skeptical regarding how well the small rectangular blade would trim my facial hair. The very first time that I used it I decided to use it without any guards and try to get a close shave and line up my beard. The blade allows you to use the utmost precision and get all the way up to your beard line. I lined up all of the outline of my beard and it looked great! The shave was also very close and looked as if I had shaved using a razor blade. I could not believe the results! The next thing I did was attached the blade guard to do some trimming. I was able to trim my beard and clean it up. It took longer than my traditional shaver since the blade is physically smaller, but it still got the job done. Personally I prefer to use a larger shaver or trimmer to trim my beard. This blade includes a nice stand with a charging cable. It also comes with attachments in order to shave, trim, and align all of your hair. It can be used for the face and body. I also love the battery life, I have used it for about two weeks so far without having to recharge. I use it almost every other day. The blade also runs extremely quiet compared to any other razor or shaver I have. Overall I cannot recommend this shaver enough for getting a close shave and perfecting your look.

Unique Versatile Shaver
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The OneBlade Pro comes with everything needed to trim, edge and shave. It comes with a 14 length adjustable comb, body comb, and skin guard for sensite areas. You also get an additional Blade and soft pouch for storage. It all comes together with a slim premium looking shaver that is not only waterproof but also back by a 2hr battery life. It’s a very simple shaver to set up and use. The only downside to it would be it’s takes a little bit longer to shave due to the smaller blade. The upside to this is that 2 blades can last up to 8 months, which they are fairly inexpensive to purchase. As for the first shave it went smoothly, no razer bumps experience afterwards. Like I mention earlier, a smaller blade just means it takes a little bit longer to shave compared to my previous electric shaver. Definitely appreciate how quickly you can change the combs depending on the type of shave you’re doing. No issues experienced while using it during a shower. Overall the OneBlade Pro is an excellent electric shaver that performs well and comes with an array of attachments to meet your shaving demands. When it comes time to replace the blades they won’t break your wallet. If you’re in the market for the jack of all trades shaver the OneBlade Pro is an excellent choice to consider.

Worth the extra money
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Philips Norelco one blade 360 as a phenomenal product. all models of this ecosystem seem to provide great benefits out of a variety of price points. however, this pro version has a handful of new features and accessories that in my opinion are worth the extra cost. to begin, the Philips one blade is a great shaving product that I recommend highly based on its variety of uses, it's long battery life, it's relatively close shave. (for an electric shaver) and it's accessories. the pro version of the Philips Norelco one blade offers a very sleek charging stand that, while not used very frequently, provides a much more aesthetically pleasing addition to a bathroom counter. counter. The pro version also has an LED screen built in that will give real time feedback on the battery level in a percentage that is incredibly helpful. overall, I also enjoyed the feeling of the pro version over the original. above all this, the thing that I appreciated the most in the pro version was the accessories that were provided the extra combs blade and carrying case make for a much more complete feeling product for those who are willing to spend the extra money. I recommend this product.

Much NEEDED Upgrade to OneBlade Lineup
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Norelco OneBlade 360 Pro is a great gift idea for anyone who uses traditional razor blades or trimmers to shave or trim body hair. The unit body is built like a tank, it has waterproofing, and it's rechargeable with plenty of juice to last a shave. It can be used in the shower, sink, or anywhere you need a trim. Everything comes in a nice package with all you need to take care of pesky hair. There is a 14 length adjustable guard, body comb, skin guard for sensitive areas, and an additional blade to go with the bag and charger to get you started. The battery is rated to last up to 120mins and the easy to read battery display is useful! The unit motor seems to run a bit slower than the regular OneBlade I have, but that could be because the head is different as well. ALL the innovation in this model comes to the PIVOT ACTION in the head. This is what makes it worth the upgrade to me. The blades are rated to change every 4 months and shave almost as close as an actual razor without skin irritation. Ladies and gentlemen, this is a go!

Great product! Love my beard looking fresh!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting to try one of these new trimmers that work like a razor because as a hairy person who saves every other day, buying razors can get expensive specially if I need to get a new one every two weeks. So far this product is meeting my expectations and it’s making happy! Sometimes when I shaved with an older razor, it would get painful around the neck, but since this works as a razor and trimmer, there is no pain! I have used this to style my beard and it was a little different than doing it with a normal razor, so I was a bit nervous at first, but after a couple days I got the hang of using the trimmer to give my beard the shape around my jawline. The battery is also great. I have use this almost daily for about 15 times and haven’t need to recharge it just yet. Overall, I am very happy with it and highly recommend it. I think I am going to give one to my dad for his birthday to give it a try. He also uses lots of razors, and I think this is close enough and yet is less messy!

Great way for keeping things the way you want!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are working from home all the time, it is probably a good bet that you don't shave every day. If you need a better way to trim down your longer than it should be beard, then there is a product that is good choice to step into that role. While I already have the basic OneBlade 360 Face, I decided to let my almost 18-year-old son take over that (since he just doesn't want to shave that often), and step up to the Philips Norelco OneBlade 360 Pro. The handle for the OneBlade 360 Pro is a nice size, just a bit bigger than the base model. It has the push-button on/off and a digital battery percent remaining display. Most of the handle is a lightly brushed metal look, but there is a textured rubber grip that barely reaches around the back corners. On the bottom, there is the charging port that the charging cord can plug directly in or can sit in the included charging stand (which is a nice idea, but with it only taking 3-5% per use, it may not be practical to keep out on the counter all the time). The blade on the new OneBlade 360 is very similar to the previous version, but now it has added side-to-side tilting along with front-to-back tilting with the idea to allow it to follow the contours of your face as you use it. While I understand the idea, I personally don't see any benefit (at least for the side-to-side portion) as it takes quite a bit of pressure to get it to tilt and it actually gets a bit uncomfortable (the corner areas outside the cutting blade edges will start to push into my skin). Maybe it could use less tight springs to make that more useable. For me, just a general guiding along my face to trim everything is all that is really needed. There is an adjustable precision trimming comb that goes from 10mm (a bit over 3/8") down to 0.4 mm (1/32") to keep your beard or sideburns at just the right length(s). This version also is useable on areas of your body that you would like to reduce the amount of hair. There are a couple attachments for the body trimming: a Skin Guard (for close trimming, almost full removal), and a fixed 3 mm click-on comb. While I do not plan to use it on anything below my neck, I did try the skin guard on a small patch of hair along my waistline (that I wouldn't miss), and it worked nicely and comfortably. Now, the main functionality of the face blade, the beard trimming/removal, is great! Now, it isn't designed to give an extremely smooth shave, but in my experience, it seems to get it down to a 10-12 hour shadow length. It works fairly quick, and as an improvement over my previous process, it doesn't really leave any missed hair (especially on my jawline and neck). I have used it several times, with the beard length ranging 3-4 days, which a couple of days done half and half for comparing the cut with the base OneBlade 360, with both having similar results, but it sounds like the Pro has a slightly different motor with a deeper sound. There is not an issue with the length of hair when removing it all. With using it as a pre-shave trim down, it allows me to get the final pass with my regular electric shaver done very quickly (about a minute). I did however notice during the first two times that I had a few spots on my neck actually start bleeding (like I had nicked myself with a blade razor), but it has been fine since. Even though the "360" aspect of the face blades won't be used (which you can get the non-360 replacement blades that will still work with the handle), this is still a nice system for helping with my shaving routine.

Best Electric Shaver I have had
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With the COVD years, I was one of those men that stopped shaving regularly and grew facial hair. It was partly a new thing to try and partly just laziness. And once you grow it out, shaving even occasionally becomes an even bigger chore, its a self sustaining cycle. This shaver/trimmer though has made me like shaving again. It sounds cliche, but the ease with which I can get a clean shaven look from a full grown beard is a great trick to have in your pocket(bathroom). I have had some electric shavers before which left you feeling a cat had scratched your face, so I was pleasantly surprised by the smooth feeling I had after my first shave with this. I have tried it with and without water, and there doesn't seem to be a great deal of difference in the effect. I did try it with shaving foam once, and that was a big mistake, unlike a razor once you glid this through the foam, the foam doesn't automatically come off with the blade, it just mixes in, so its really hard to gauge what's going on under there, if I am leaving patches or getting a good clean shave. It even left multiple little nicks which caused blood to drip out. I could not feel any of it at all till I wiped it off with water, but since there was still foam after multiple rounds on the same spot, I could not guage my pressure or work clearly. I don't blame that completely on this device, but perhaps shaving foam not the best idea with this. The biggest surprise for me though is that it actually looks better than a normal razor, again I am no expert in the art of facial hair shaving, but since you move this both ways, you are shaving both with the grain and against the grain simultaneously, giving you a cleaner look. I might have to do some research if that's actually good for me in the long run. Now, coming to the accessories and the charging. Every time I use the shaver, its battery drops down by 4%, since I always keep it on charge, I have not tested how long it will last me. But extrapolating that, I should get about 25 sessions without the need to charge. Its great to have a little LED display that shows you how much battery you have, rather than leaving you guessing. The charging stand is sturdy, but I wish the port for the plugging the charging stand to the wall adapter and the port for the actual shaver was the same, so if needed on travels I could just take the adapter and shaver without the stand, but that's not possible here. All the accessories are handy as well, especially the skin guard and the body comb. Youo can use them as needed to keep sensitive areas protected, and in my use it did exactly that, and still with a neat clean trim. There is also an included multi length comb, for precise size grooming.

Great trimmer for facial and body hair!

I've had a Philips Norelco electric razer that (with a few quick and easy blade replacements) has lasted me for over a decade and still is in daily use - and it was an entry level model at the time! This trimmer brings all of that experience and quality into a more modern package designed for both facial hair and more delicate body hair as well. It comes with two blades and 3 different "combs/guards" - one for protecting skin while entirely removing hair, one with a fixed 1/8in length and one that's adjustable to a variety of lengths. These can be quickly interchanged or left in place. Of note, this is NOT a razer - it is not designed to leave a 100% smooth finish but more to remove longer hairs and will leave a small bit of stubble that you'll have to go over with a true shaver to get to 100% smooth if that's what you want - I knew and expected this. The trimmer itself is super compact and easy to use. It sits on the included dock and charges (via a physical connection, so the trimmer is NOT fully waterproof as the electrical connections for charging aren't covered) quickly - fully charged from empty in about an hour, but you can use it MUCH faster than that. A nice touch is that the included AC adapter can plug into the dock for home use OR directly into the trimmer itself so you can leave the dock/stand at home for a more compact travel kit but still be able to charge while you're away (for a longer trip). The built in display shows how much charge you have while charging and a low battery warning when needed. The lithium batteries hold a good charge and should last through quite a few trims before recharging, but that does depend on how long you use it each time. One of the nice things about this trimmer are the new blades. They have a SUPER amount of flex to them in all directions so they can assuredly trim at whatever angle you need them to - they do trim best at an angle which is clear on the packaging and in practice, but they WILL cut pressed against the skin too. They seem to have a coating on the "tines" of the serrated edges that prevents nicks and irritation. Even on delicate skin they removed hair easily and without irritation or cuts. The surface of the blade is roughened to help raise hairs for the edges (I think - at least that's what it seems to do) and the whole package works well together. So if you have grooming needs that require a good trimmer, this is a GREAT one to get - highly recommended!

Great trimmer, but battery life can be improved
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently picked up the Philips OneBlade Pro and let me tell you, I've been thoroughly impressed with this trimmer. As someone who has both facial and body hair, I was on the hunt for a device that could handle both and the OneBlade Pro definitely delivers. The blade glides through hair with ease making grooming a breeze. I'm also glad that its waterproof, and being able to hop in the shower and get a grooming session in has been a game changer for me. However, there are a couple of things that I wish were different. I would have liked to see a longer battery life, for one. Don't get me wrong, an hour of charging time is fine and dandy, but it might not be ideal for some and I certainly do feel like it can last longer. I also found the attachments to be a bit flimsy for my liking. I like my grooming tools to feel solid and durable, but the OneBlade Pro's attachments seem to be of a cheap plastic just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Besides these concerns, I'd still say that the Philips OneBlade Pro is a solid investment for your grooming routine. The smooth flat blade, waterproof design, and rechargeable battery make it a great choice for anyone looking for a versatile and convenient grooming solution. Despite my minor gripes, I'm happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Micro Touch One Trimmer

I bought it as a gift for my husband, and he says that it is by far the best trimmer he’s ever used. The design looks very sleek, and the charging dock/stand is incredibly handy. He also loves that the battery percentage is displayed on the front. 10/10 would purchase again!

New half of my dynamic duo
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far, I have shaved twice with this razor, and can report little to no irritation. The hair on my neck has different textures and some areas swirl and switch direction, so most electric razors leave entire areas of irritation. I also shave my head using a Freebird head shaver. Occasionally I can get away with the head shaver on my face, but rarely without irritation. My go-to regimen was the head shaver, followed be a finishing touch with a single blade handle razor. Works, but timely and inconvenient, which usually defeats the purpose of getting a quick shave. Using the one blade has drastically cut my time and discomfort down. I’ve used dry for a quick touch and with foam for a full shave. Both instances were smooth and drag free. It also gets close enough that it qualifies as an actual shave and not a stubble trim. Also, rarely did I have to do more than one pass. The result was the same on the usage on the body; smooth and snag free. The guards are perfect for quick trimming at different lengths which eliminates the need for my other trimmers with guards. Less space to take up with the same function. I can’t speak on the time for shaving, but after each full shave, there was still 99% battery left, so I assume we’re on point for lifespan. I cannot complain at all. My only wish is it could be used on my head, then I’d be a one razor kinda guy, but alas, I’ll take this combo for getting the job done with no irritation and very little time.
