I have this outdoor bulb in the recessed fixture on my front door entrance. The recessed fixture does not have a cover on it which is good because the package insert states that the bulb is not suitable for closed fixtures. The bulb is extremely bright which is great for nighttime. So bright that I actually dim it to 70-80% brightness at nighttime because if it's at 100% it blinds me when I look out the peephole in the front door.

Couldn't be easier to set up. Just replace the old incandescent bulbs in the fixture, switch the power on and then launch the Hue App. Call up the menu and start the "Light setup" process and the hub will find the bulbs and let you add names and assign the bulbs to a location and routine. A bit pricey at this point but worth it given the life span and performance.

Quick and easy to change over from existing outdoor flood lights to these. Didn't have to change anything with the fixture, just took the old lamps put and put these it. Connected to my hue bridge in seconds. Used the "coming home" feature to turn on the lights when I pull in my driveway (after sunset). The bulbs produce nice bright white light.

I love anything Google home! So it was no surprise that these lights were going to be just as amazing and they are. I have them connected to our front door when we drive down the road I say hey Google front door light on and the lights light up no more tripping to the doorway

I purchased these as flood lights because the switch in my house is in a different location than the door. It made things so much easier when I could ask Alexa to turn them on, especially because we get skunks in the yard and I want to make sure the lights are on to scare them away before I take the dogs out.

As easy to setup as any HUE bulb and I love it because I can turn it on and off with my phone whether I am home or away and if at home, just HEY GOOGLE, and it powers it on or off. I wanted it mostly for the ability to turn it on and off while I am away though; and it's been great.

Did you ever want to make your spotlights on your house smart? Here is your answer! I bought 4 for my back yard and it feels light daylight at night. They are very bright and they are even DIMMABLE and designed for the outdoors (water and humidity resistant). I highly recommend.

I’ve used this for about 4 months now on my front porch, and I love the way I can dim it or brighten it depending upon whether or not I have holiday lighting on my house. Oh, the luxury of being on the 3rd floor of my townhouse and turning on this light...ahhhhh!! Also love the way I can turn it on from miles away. Worth the money to me.

I use these flood lights in my back yard so i can see my dog when she goes out at night. I love all my hue lights just wish they had more of a variety. These light are fully adjustable with your dimmer on your app also. Just one bulb can light up at least 50 to 60 feet.

These are outdoor floodlights. as floodlights they work as expected. They are easy to install and the mobile app makes the setup to your Philips Hue network very easy. This is a very nice addition to your home security that can be set on timers, or controlled remote. Making your home just a little safer.

Excellent amount of light without being glaring. Works perfectly with my Google Home setup. Also haveblinked to outdoor nest motion Sensor and they turn on nearly at the exact time there is motion. About 40 feet from motion sensor and 100 feet or more through walls from nest hub.

This outdoor light was an awesome addition to my smart home, in low lighting conditions I’m able to turn on the front door light and get a better look at who is ringing my doorbell. Very valuable if automated to turn on as you approach your door at night.

I got these for my driveway flood lights. This allowed me to bypass a traditional timer and just set them up through the app. At full brightness thess are crazy bright. I actually run .ine at abput 18%. They should last for many years.
