Good value. Works well with new 4K OLED TV. It allows 4K passthrough of which my old receiver was incapable.

I am very satisfied with everything that his stereo can do it is a little pricey but worth every penny.

Bought at a great price to upgrade my system. I bought Atmos speakers to utilize the Atmos feature.

Hooks up to all components easily Love the different zones and can control volume separately

I put this in our movie room and it works great with our new blue ray and our old vcr!

No issues so far. The google cast thing is still outstanding s/w release. I'll be disappointed if Pioneer doesn't release it soon.

This receiver has plenty of good features for the price, but the one I got kept cutting out (audio and video). I would recommend the comparable Denon instead though, because it's even better for the price, and had no issues.

Sound and picture quality are excellent. Lots of power to drive larger home theater speakers. 20 minutes to setup and simple to navigate through features.

I upgraded from a 7.2 Sony. It was glitchy and started acting up. I could never get the menu to come up with the factory remote, but my smart remote for my tv would always interfere. I didn't think the Pioneer would be all that different. Huge difference! This thing is fantastic. You even get more than what you pay for. It says 7.2 but it cheats a little and gives you extra connections for Dolby Atmos whereas the Sony used the same connections for two sets of speakers. You had to choose. It's so easy to use. This is definitely worth it.

This is my second Pioneer Elite AV Receiver and I love the sound quality and features, The remote is very easy to use vs. the older style but what I really like is the App I downloaded from "The Play Store" (iControlAV5) I'm using an Android phone and they offer a free Pioneer App that works with this receiver. There is a section in the app that allows you to custom design your own EQ called "Finger EQ". I setup my own custom EQ setting and then you hit "LOAD" and watch out! It brought my receiver to life! I don't understand how or what it's doing but put in your favorite Blu Ray movie and wow does it kick some serious butt! Sounds amazing but watch out for the volume because it also cranks up the volume a lot! You definitely need to check out the free app and load up a custom "Finger EQ" and see if you like the dramatic effect as much as I do. Good Luck and enjoy.

Bought last month from Best Buy. Really like this one. I have sc37 for main room. Works great, the iControlAV5 app works well, it acts weird once in while, but it gives you great ability to manipulate the sound. Also like the internet radio, that's a plus. Tried to find out more about fireconnect system, but Pioneer appears to be lacking on telling you how it works, that's the strange part, even Best Buy is mum about it. Otherwise I would give 5 stars, hope they enlighten us soon Enjoy this one, its worth it.

I received this Pioneer receiver as a gift last Christmas. I'm happy to say that it works well and has all the functions I was looking for. Good, clear sound. I love that I can stream my music from my iMac to it via the Airplay feature. Also glad to see that it has a phono input as I plant to add a turntable this year. Grab it if you are on the fence for a good mid-priced unit.

I purchased this receiver as a replacement for a 10 year old Harmon Kardon 301 receiver which lacked HDMI inputs for new 4k TV. Thought this was a great receiver would give this receiver 5 stars except at normal settings auto MCACC it lacks power and to enable the EQ you have to set each speaker level seperately. Download the Pioneer Application and IControlAV5 and it allows simplier EQ configuration settings from mobile device. Once these settings are complete you have an excellent receiver.

This is an outstanding A/V receiver. Plenty of input and output connections for all of my components Enough power to drive my surround sound home theater and then some.
