    Will not work a standard cable coax

    We purchased this new on 10/26/2024 from the Rockford, IL store to be used in a new nursing home that has cable TV. We had a salesman from the store with us and told him that the TV was going to be used in a nursing home that has cable. hooked up the internet cable to the TV to cable, and found out this TV cannot search for cable channels and you need to buy Aluratek - Digital TV Converter Box with Digital Video Recorder to watch cable TV along with an HDMI cable. This is a brand new TV and the salesman should have informed us that this TV will not work with Cable.

      Hi,
      Thanks for your review. Could you please try as below?

      1. Connect cable Coaxial to the Aluratek Digital TV Converter Box with Digital Video Recorder.
      2. Connect HDMI between TV HDMI input and the box HDMI output

      3. Switch TV input source to the corresponding input 4. Suggest set to Last input on the TV by: Settings > Display & Sounds > Power Controls > Power On menu. BBY-ExBrand_Best_Buy_Pioneer

    Picture is meh. Sound is meh. I like that it works with Spectrum, but not being able to edit the apps that appear on the Home Screen is a deal-breaker. Maybe it works on some TVs, but not the one I received, despite Sumo's support website saying it did. Xumo support personnel confirmed it does not work on the Xumo TV, only on the Stream Box, which is the opposite of what the Xumo website says.

    The Tv is Ok. Llke the other revies Says it freezes. You have to turn it off and wait 2 minutes before you can turn it on for a picture..it was on sale. Thats the only reason i got this tv. . Thanks best buy.

    Doesn't allow Plex to access files!!

    I just spent a great deal of my time picking this tv up at BestBuy, unboxing and setting it up, to learn that this "Smart TV" does not allow Plex to access video files through my Plex server due some kind of ridiculous restrictions on their "Xumo app." This is absolutely unbelievable, and I've never encountered any Smart TV that has done this. This has been a total waste of my time. I now have to re-pack everything and return it. DO NOT BUY this tv if you use it to watch files files on a network server, it is COMPLETELY USELESS!

    This tv is cheaply made and I didn't recieve all the screws for it. The hdmi cord wasn't reading and when my son tried to exchange it out, it fell down and broke. It didn't even fall but on it's own stand. I didn't even have the tv but 4 hrs.

    Stay away. Immediately within a couple days the picture would freeze with no audio. Had to unplug and replug to reset, then had to reprogram apps. I returned it for an Insignia. Picture, audio and price were good, quality not good.

    Lasted a month. I only used it 5 times and now it will not even turn on, even though I see that it is getting power. It just went off.

    There is no LIVE local news. I like to watch the local news for the Seattle area in the morning. It only plays the night before news and my choice is only ONE local station.

    I like my new Pioneer 32 inch XUMO smart TV i purchased , it is so much more of an upgrade from my old hd tv that it is replacing as it has a fantastic picture with alot of great features that was so easy to set up and it is also a very user friendly smart tv with the wifi i have in my house and best of all i got it on sale during Best Buys Memorial Day sales event at 79.99 !

    Great TV. Great picture quality and i wasn't expecting such great sound coming from a little TV but the sound is great and clear with great bass to me so small. It literally blew me away. I actually had to turn some of the bass down a little bit! I'm pretty Happy with this TV. It has plenty Pre installed apps and subscriptions and it has some free stuff as well! I'm just really enjoying it! I will definitely recommend it!
