Pioneer’s Little TV!

The quirkiness they talk about as an annoyance, I find very useful. It only takes a nano second to go where you want, once you get used to the remote control. Also the TV sounds like a small built in soundbar!

Solid TV but lacking features

I bought it to use as a display at a trade show booth and it didn’t have a loop function on the media player or any other sort options at all. Decent tv just lacked the features I assumed all new TVs would have.

The remote is well designed and easy to use. Great for tight spaces. At present I have not used the XUMO streaming option, which was not required to setup the TV for OTA channel reception or external device inputs. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Great picture but very slow

If your going to use it as a regular tv then it’d be great. The apps are very slow to load. Ive never seen a new tv be so slow. Also my remote keeps un-pairing from tv. When it does, the re learn steps do not work. I have to wait for it to randomly re pair. Its very anoying. To sum it up, the picture is good and sound is good but thats about it.

I had never heard of google TVs before until I made this purchase. set up took a hot minute, to have it synced with all your google accounts. Now that it’s hooked up, it operates with ease. This is how a proper smart TV should operate.

The only reason I didn't give it five starts is because I'd like to wait and see how the "smart" features evolve -- I've had other TVs with built in apps that were no longer supported shortly after purchasing the TV. Fingers crossed the Pioneer is better!

Great little TV for small rooms

It looks really good and the picture is nice and clear. The smart hub works great also. I had a small tv that this one replaced and I didn’t even need a fire stick I used for the old one. Perfect for small rooms.

This tv now has better colors than my older Sony which is about 14 years old and seems to be fading in colors. I am shocked how well the tv performs at just quietly switching channels and is my main Tv for watching Blu ray videos or just DVD's from any collection. I only regret not buying the 4k version for even better picture and sound. The amp inside seems better than my other Tv that is larger so I cannot complain because the price was far below $100 dollars even after taxes. I would buy another Pioneer in about ten years at 4k for certain from same store.

Good little tv for the price

The choices on XumoTV are nice, but we usually go to the HDMI port to use the Roku box. I do wish you didn’t have to set up a Xumo account to get started, but it’s got a lot of free tv options on it once you get in so that’s a plus. The picture is good and the sound is fine. Overall I’m happy with this tv. I’d buy it again.

Turns out that on this TV, the smart TV app is slow and for some reason, certain apps do not have very good resolution. I use the Spectrum TV app, and the resolution is terrible and glitchy. I finally hooked up a Roku stick, and since it is only using the TV as a monitor, the resolution looks way better and faster. Couldn't watch basketball on the Spectrum app on Xumo. So the picture itself on the TV is good, and the sound is pretty good for a small TV.
