Started turning 'on' sound only when not on. Can't turn off the red light - so it is too bright sleeping.

Great color, sound, and picture. Easy to use, comes with several handy apps installed. Does require Amazon account at sign-up, but it is an Amazon FireTV, so that was expected. I have had an app freeze a few times (trouble returning to the home screen), but a reset (unplugging the TV) seemed to fix the issue. Very easy installation and set-up overall.

For the price, you simlly can't beat this tv. This review is biased, however. Pioneer has been my home audio brand for years, so this tv is sitting over an Elite receiver. It's not perfect, as it's kinda flimsy when mounted on the stand. It took me a good minute to calibrate the picture. The picture actually kinda sucked at first, but then i used the Xbox One tv calibration tool and now it looks great. Navigating around the fire tv UI menu is also kind of a hassle, but may not be for others. My only other gripe is the remote controller battery cover is always falling off. Besides that, this tv is awesome.

Bought this for a gift. He is very pleased with the clear color and crisp sound.

The picture is better than the last 2 tvs I've bought but who knows how durable it is. My old crt lasted forever but every flat screen I've bought lasts maybe 2-3 yrs. Setup (without firetv) was easy but then at first I was only using chromecast. Then, I found amazon has a booby trap for chrome. If you hit the 'return' key, it disconnects chromecast. Argh! I thought the settings and preferences was very confusing but then I installed firetv and now it's nearly impossible to use. BTW, setting up firetv took 20+ mins. By the 4th update I was ready to return this, it was so annoying. And now, I have to guess at which key to press to get options and most of the time, I can't read the options because of the screen background which you can't change. And, if I switch to prime video, the only option I'm allowed to change is the brightness. what the fred The remote is not the problem; it's the remote plus the crazy screen design. There are a number of features I like but the faults are difficult to ignore. I haven't tested this out much but I can control the tv with echo dot and I don't have to use the remote. My guess is the way they describe this is out of context. If you don't have echo, the remote operates like echo in that you press a button and your speech is translated to remote commands of your tv (presumably thru IR). But, if you have an echo, you don't need the remote. So I say "alexa, switch to input one" (which I've tried) and the tv switches to input 1 and I don't have to use the remote. Basically what they've done is incorporated echo into the tv and remote so everything you can do with an echo you could do with a remote. So if you have echo, skip the remote. If don't have echo, use the remote. If you have both echo and the remote, don't use the remote. If you have both, the echo is smart enough to ignore your command. The neat thing about the remote in this case is that it displays the response as a screen, text or both. Just try it, "alexa, hello" with the remote and echo at the same time. The sound quality is also better than my previous tvs. The volume control and voice enhancement is so good, I might get rid of my sound bar.

Great sale price, great features for this price point. I love the dolby features. I would give this tv a 10/10, but for 2 exceptions; 1) the remote is cheap, and buttons small, but love the Alexa feature. 2) I almost passed this powerhouse tv up because of the included feet. Although they are sturdy, when installed they are 36'' apart, Way too wide for my bedroom furniture. I fashioned an extension out of an extra wall shelf, on top of the bureau, hated the look, but it worked. I lasted about 6 months before I bought a table-top stand for an additional $40, much better looking. Much sturdier and better looking. I use this tv mostly for viewing sports and streaming movies, and the picture is phenominal! Cannot comment on those gaming complaints I have read. All in all, an exceptional bargain, and after a year I still love it! I would purchase it again.

The picture is beautiful (with a little tweaking in settings), the sound is great and the smart tv functions well. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I got it on sale but it’s a great deal even when it’s not on sale. Don’t sleep on Pioneer.

Our old tv went out and this was on sale. Never had a smart tv until this one. We really like the picture

Remote could be a little better. But that seems to be a theme across most reviews I have read about smart tvs. otherwise, I really like it. Very nice for the price as well.

Excellent value, the picture is awesome. I love the amazon fire. Lots of free movies and shows.

I got this because back when I sold tvs, Pioneer was a solid name in AV, and I was not disappointed. The colors out of the box are great if you set the unit to cinema mode, and my games and movies look crisp as heck. The casing feels a little cheap, but for the price and picture quality, I can let that slide. The speakers are better than most flat screens I've used too. It adds a little bulk to the bottom, but that's no problem for me, since I have mine on a stand.

This tv is great! It has a nice picture, very good sound. There is one negative, the remote does not work that well.

So we needed a cheap, larger sized screen, 4k, for occasional use in our bedroom. This works perfect.

I love this TV. Really good quality at an affordable price. I just wish they made a 65".

Great TV for a really great price!!! I am very pleased with this TV. The picture quality is amazing! A really beautiful picture with vibrant colors, and a crisp picture quality. The sound is excellent. I am still very happy about the low price for such an awesome TV!
