Had an older model of this for about 5 years. My surge protector was hit and unit died. Purchased the newer updated model the picture and sound are much better that older unit. Great Unit.

I have 2 INFINITY speakers and the sound is great watching movies the base comes through like my sub does on my old 5.1 receiver .I thought my sub was on at first but is was not. don't need it

It did everything I wanted it to do and the sound with my new speakers was great

I bought this to replace a 25-year-old receiver which still worked but had no digital (HDMI) inputs/outputs. I don't have a fancy home-theater space any more, so I just needed something basic to handle a BluRay player, modern TV, but also had old-style audio/video inputs for some of my older gear. So far it is working OK, but I haven't tried to do much with it. The troubles I've had are 1) radio reception can be pretty bad, particularly FM, and 2) the labels for the buttons on the front are small and not very bright compared to the black color of the unit, so in a dimly (or even "normal") lit room, it is VERY difficult to find the button you are looking for. I don't like having to use the dial to select an input - I can never remember which direction my desired input is in and often have to cycle around in order to find it. If you need something inexpensive that "just works" for the most part, it's a fine little unit. If you want something nice-but-not-bank-breaking, you may want to step up to a higher level model.

Using in office setting to power in ceiling speakers and works great.

I have vaulted ceilings in my living room and I had a sound bar but the room is too big. This is a nice upgrade and I also have the computer and xbox hooked up as well!

Had to returne item. It was faulty and exchanged it for a next one. Did not check the next one yet

Glad to find a name brand receiver for a reasonable price.

I had been looking for awhile for a new receiver our last one got blown by a storm. This one has worked out well for us and our surround sound speakers
