Lasted a few years, that's it

Now it constantly cuts in and out with video, every 5 minutes or so the video will go black and turn back on after a second. It did this to our old TV, wasn't sure if it was the TV or not. Just bought a new TV and still does it. We unhooked the receiver and plugged the TV straight into the satellite box instead of using the receiver and the video no longer cuts out. I used to be a big fan of Pioneer but I am extremely disappointed in this product.

Very Good Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this reciever four days ago to replace my old 500 watt pioneer reciever that the optical sound outlet quit working on. Little tricky getting the HDMI cables plugged into my tv, but I figured it out. Wish the display on the reciever was brighter to see easier. Great digital sound. Had to play with the suround sonds settings to get the best audio, but that's only normal. Once the adjustments were made, it sounded great.

Bought for my dad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was a Christmas present for my dad so he could finally have the surround sound and theater quality that he was looking for. This reciver has done more than the trick! He is rattling the windows and upsetting the neighbors with his classic metal! Great product highly recommended!

Worked for a day

I first noticed the DVD HDMI port stopped working a couple hours into using it. I switched ports and all seemed fine. I planned to go back and check it again in a day or two. I used the receiver for a few hours at night and all seemed great. I woke up the next morning and received no sound from any input. I tried everything but nothing. I've boxed the receiver back up and I'll be returning it.

Quit after 3 weeks. No support from Best Buy

Turns out there is actually an entry in the troubleshooting section of the manual: "If the HDMI indicator blinks and the receiver won't power on: there is a serious problem with the receiver. Do not power on. Return to a Pioneer authorized service center." It must be a known issue if it's in the manual. Best Buy won't do anything about it. I had not purchased from Best Buy for a long time due to them getting so bad, but I gave them another shot. No more Best Buy for me.

it is a bad quality after 2 years stopped working
