I recently splurged on a TV from Best Buy, and frankly… it's opened up a whole new world of entertainment. From the moment I turned it on, the picture was spectacularly sharp, the colors deep, vibrant, almost alive. Every movie, every game, every series takes on incredible depth, as if I were right in the middle of the action. The clear, immersive sound perfectly complements the experience. Installed this tv to replace an old one and am very pleased with the quality of the picture. The sound is decent and easily tuned, so no need for a sound bar. The only thing I dislike is there is no way to direct tune to a channel. The remote has no numbers on it at all. To change channels, you must turn to the channel guide and scroll through to the desired channel. I’m used to picking up a remote and simply hitting the channel number. I guess this is the current technology and I’ll have to get used to it. Otherwise, what a great tv at a very reasonable price.

3 weeks ago I purchased 50’ Roku smart tv for my granddaughter and must say this is one of the best purchases I’ve made. My granddaughter absolutely loves it the picture shows clear the sound is perfect the overall quality of the tv is perfect

Pros - PRICE, easy setup, good base picture quality, lightweight and mounted easily to wall Cons - No Bluetooth (in 2026...huh?); no ability to adjust picture settings, there is only a "bright, brighter, brightest" adjustment Overall, it does what it is supposed to do, decent picture and connected to my apps easy enough. At this price point (esp on sale), that is all anyone should expect. I was surprised by the lack of bluetooth but I should have read the specs closer.

This TV is great. It does help that access to the TV are much easier than other models I have. The menu is easy to navigate, mainly because it uses the Roku interface. You can assign each input onto the menu, I dont have to click on Input/Source on the remote control. It doesn't take forever to setup either. Its quick, click and a few minutes to setup HDMI and all the streaming channels I watch all in one go. Once set up, I just have to use the directional pad on the remote to go where I want to. But one of the most critical things I LOVE about this television is and is lacking on other brands is that Pioneer didnt forget us Gen X or Millenials who used to love playing consoles that are now considered "retro" is the ability to connect your AV component cables onto this TV - Red/White/Yellow cables. Most of the newer TV brands like Samsung and LG (which I also own) are missing that on their TV's, they've cut costs into the build and only include HDMI slots only which made it tough because I always have to buy a third party AV converter - that are more misses than hits - to be able to connect that onto my TV. This has been a great TV to own - easy Roku menu and access to AV, became an automatic buy for me.

This is the third TV we've owned using the Roku platform, and we've become fans of this streaming device. Besides the great picture resolution, I'm loving the way in which our Roku televisions (including this one) all connect seamlessly to our internet, and the apps cooperate by loading fairly effortlessly. I'm impressed by the way in which our basic Roku information is transferred when I log into the app and how easy it is to navigate. I do have a couple of suggestions: I had some trouble getting our Dish remote to recognize the Pioneer set, even after inserting the model number, but it did work when I tried the RCA Roku selection (no idea why, but hey, it works). The other is that if you want an app (for us it's the Dish connection) to load on startup, from your home screen go to Setup, System, Power, and then select whatever you want to see when you first power on your set. The set also connects intelligently with our separate speaker, something our old Samsung refused to do without putting up a fight.

I am enjoying my Pioneer 50" Roku TV and have had no issues with it. It has a clear picure with natural-looking color, and it is easy to use the various features. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

Bought this after my cat knocked over my other tv. This tv is good. Only 2 complaint the speakers aren’t that great. With my old tv I could have it at 25 and it was loud enough. I have to turn it up to almost 60. Also the closed caption keeps stopping randomly while watching shows. I watch tv on Plutotv a lot and it will play and then stop I have to cut the tv off and turn it back on for it to work.

I purchased this TV for my son to replace another brand that I purchased at Best Buy. We had the TV on the wall for seven months and my son had been complaining about the TV for two of the seven months. The TV was shot and had to be replaced for $20 more than I paid for the first 43 inch fire TV. We were able to get this pioneer 50 inch. I have been a fan of the pioneer TVs for a minute. I have a pioneer Zummo TV in my kitchen and the picture quality is beautiful. The Roku pioneer TV seems slightly quicker than the Zummo but the picture is the same. Beautiful crisp colors. My son uses it mostly for gaming of course. The sound seems to be OK. There were reviews that the TV wasn’t as loud as they would have wanted. I can’t complain about the sound, but I will say that my son watches his TV with a sound bar. If you have the chance to buy this TV and you catch it on sale you can’t go wrong!
