The screen just shows a white screen now. I purchased the tv in June 2024 and its now Aug 2025 and I need another tv. Also when you cut the tv off 30 minutes later it powers back on by itself

TERRIBLE SMART TV

The television has a great picture and sound. But, after playing for an hour or so I turned it off. Two hours later I turned it on and received tv said" wifi not connected ". I went through the setting to have tv seach for wifi network, and nothing. I then unplugged it and restarted it. My wifi connection was restored, but the premium peacock and starz accounts weren't present anymore. This smart tv seens like its going to be more trouble than its worth. I will be returning it to Best Buy.

Avoid at your own peril.

Granted, this is about as inexpensive as youll get for a 50" tv but if its as bad inside as it is outside I'd spend a few dollars more & get something else. The picture is absolutely awful. Colors are washed out, image is somewhat grainy (even on 4k movies) & the reflections are so bad its basically unwatchable. The 'out of the box' settings were nothing short of atrocious, after tweaking I managed to get it to just awful. I'm very experienced at tweaking the settings on my tvs & my projector--can't remmember the last time I had a device that I didn't tweak on my own & have been very good over the years at making a very good picture look pristine but that's not going to happen with this 50" Pioneer Xumo. It really is so bad that I can't imagine that inside use would be much better. The reflections would still be there, just maybe not as pronounced as would the poor color quality. Then there's Xumo. It's actually worse than a couple of the 10 year old TCL tvs I had in my kids' rooms. The selection is sparse, to say the least, no matter which genre you choose. That brings me to the response time from when you make ANY selection with the remote to when the tv actually decides to follow through on your choice. If it was any slower I could use an hour glass to time it. Now you may be asking 'if he hates the tv that much then why didn't he just return it'? Well, I bought it in early January & hurt my back the same day so it's been sitting here in the box & now it's obviously past the return period.
