I bought this to be a big computer screen and it works just fine for that. But do not connect it to the internet. After connecting it to the internet every time I turned it on it would be "performing maintenance" for like 5 minutes. I finally factory reset the TV and purposefully did not reconnect it to the internet and it works just fine as a screen with inputs. Even without connecting it it makes you choose an input every time you power on instead of just opening the input it was already on the last time. When I bought it, it was on a super sale for $199. Im glad I did not pay more. The picture quality is good and at $199 I am happy.
