Amazing
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing picture for this price I was shocked! First TV in my life that right out of the box in energy saving mode picture looks amazing and was like should I really adjust anything? Colors are pretty on target, motion not so bad at all,app/apps pretty good,6months free of peacock has 95% of apps everyone would uses on it. Now downside remember the price of this TV so the downside is not really a down side, first this TV gives you a pic of a 1000 to 2000 dollar tv for way less money now downside blacks not super black duh it's Lcd not OLED,motion blur sometimes not really bad at all but it's there, not an edge to edge TV of pic but you don't miss it do to the great pic your getting at this price,OS has some lag but nothing super bad, remote makes clickety click sounds when you use it,you can not install your own apps but they have 95% what most people use. I have the 55inch model in my kitchen and I would think about buying one for my main room but only goes to 65" wish they made a 89 to 100inch version I would buy it for my main theater room that's how good I think this TV is for the price. Don't let Best buy employees scare you from buying it because it's not a Samsung,LG,TCL or whatever this TV is in with those brands trust me. Just buy it you will not return it unless your looking for best everything then go OLED or jcv project or Runco projector then your talking thousand of dollars difference in price then this TV. Bestbuy specs are not right on the TV it has a voice remote just like Google, it does a lot is smart TV right out of the box it talks to you no joke I shut it off because it does get annoying and at night my wife would kill me turning it on and it saying "power is on!" " Volume up, Volume down!". Buy the TV no worries.

Get you one.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen is very clear, HD no lag or delays. The interface seems a lot easier to navigate than other tvs, and it comes with a very good sound system as to be expected with Pioneer. At first I was unsure, I know Pioneer for car stereos mostly, so to see a tv from a trusted brand I was interested. I’m thinking of getting the 65 inch for my living room area.

Great Value
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value for the price, have had for almost 6 months and have had zero issues with functionality, speed, picture clarity, or sound. Love the remote and that it has voice functions. The ONLY downside and reason for four stars is that despite being a smart TV, it doesnt have the same access as some of the other major brands, so there are certain channels and apps that you cant download on this. It does have most big ones, but I reccomend checking the compatibility of the apps you use regularly before buying. That small issue aside, we love the tv and would buy another!

A very Good TV
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV 55", for my bedroom and it has exceeded my expectations so far. As with all edge-lit TVs, the white edge light is visible when the TV is turned on, but it disappears as soon as the main menu appears. The image and sound quality are very good, especially considering the price. I wish there was a 75" available for my living room. Nonetheless, I highly recommend giving Pioneer a chance. Their prices are one-third of their competitors, yet the quality of their products is just as good. Pictures wont justify the actuall quality of the TV.

INCREDIBLE
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I do know a thing or two about TVs. I wanted to get the most out of my XBox Series X so I needed a tv that was up to snuff. I finally settled on the 65in LG C1 OLED. Incredible TV. But it was also $1700. The 55in Pioneer is also incredible but its in a different weight class because its only $200 (BlackFriday). So no, it wont have that insane contrast, you will see light leakage on an the edges. It wont have the exact same bass as my $1700 OLED, BUT at 200 bucks, the picture is still crisp enough, the sound is bassy enough and I am overall impressed at what Pioneer did here at this cost. Its got built-in streaming apps so no need for me to grab a Roku. 3 HDMI ports, none of them are 2.1 but I didnt expect it. The remote even has voice command and I didnt realize that at first. And its fairly light. This is a perfect tv for my bedroom and I am not one bit disappointed. Only thjng I cant speak on of course is longevity; i have heard TVs for Black Friday may not last the longest, but we shall see. Take a look at my picture of Loki from the first Avengers movie. Looks pretty clean. Unfortunately the price has gone up since BF; its hovering around $240-$250. I might be a little less impressed had I paid 50 bucks more but its still decent so far at that price. Shop around a bit more and compare if you will spend $250. But for price I bought it at and specs, its a solid 5 stars.

Remarkable Value. Better Than Expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Heck of a deal. Under $240 (delivered) for a fully-featured 55" UHD Smart TV. These were on sale when our bedroom TV retired to life in a landfill. Pleasantly surprised by the picture quality. Built-in speakers okay, but a sound bar makes a huge improvement. Not a fan of the XUMO interface, but rarely see it since we've attached a ROKU device. Would buy again.

Worst smart OS platform. Never again!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, I will start by saying that technically speaking, this review should warrant more than three stars because this television has a crystal clear picture, Impressive Dynamic sound and plenty of features and capabilities for adjusting anything with in the technical specifics given to personalize and customize your audio visual experience. This is a great TV set for a smart television in this price range. Now with that said, this was my first TV I have ever purchased on the Xumo platform and let me tell you something. IT WILL BE MY LAST!!! Never, never again! Xumo tv is a smart platform OS built into various brands of televisions as well as being an independent app available for streaming purposes in Google Play and for smart televisions as well. I will tell you that I have a lot of experience in dealing with various web OS platforms in the market of smart TVs and never have I encountered one with so many confusing and inconvenient features- or I should say limitations- as this annoying integration known as Xumo. First of all, Xumo comes pre-installed obviously since it is the OS Of the TV that allows it to be tagged as being a smart television. This is the system on which you will access your apps and streaming services and navigate through your entertainment experience. I would go as far as to say that this particular OS is the reason why products such as the Google TV with Chromecast 4K dongle, The ONN Android TV box, The Amazon Fire TV stick and the new ly approaching release of the ultimate Google entertainment experience in the 4k streaming box hub are still necessary evils even when you own a smart television. Owning a smart TV should be enough in itself because it allows for its own inbuilt Bluetooth and Wi-Fi or ethernet usage and typically Android based interface, which in a perfect world would quickly and easily put you in your favorite spot, enjoying the entertainment you choose immediately after setup. Xumo TV is a platform in which all apps available within their Network (think Google Play here on Google TV or LG web store on LG. Webos) come pre-installed and ready to stream on your very first startup of the set. On one hand, this could be a pro for some who don't necessarily want to scroll through endless amounts of apps to pick the right ones or to try out new ones and want a select- or I should say a selected predetermined group- of apps available at any given moment. On the side of a major con is that you only have access to these select apps that the company has determined you should have access to- nothing more. Period. Yes, there are ways to sideload third-party apps or apks onto any system - such as the Fire TV stick - and ordinarily it's not a difficult process to navigate even for those who are not very tech savvy. That said, for this particular system base, it is purposely designed to almost fight back against any sort of adjustments to the available entertainment options so much so that I gave up on the idea of trying to include a few of my favorite apps that were not present within the Xumo Brand library that came pre-installed. Also, beyond the confusion, you have to deal with the factor of having over 350 apps installed on your television and you can't do anything about it. There is no way to uninstall any of the applications that you do not use or will never utilize beyond deep manipulation of the OS coding itself, which would require somebody with advanced tech knowledge and I do not recommend anybody even attempt this. If you are in the category of a newbie for anything tech related, specifically coding and developer access. So, now you have a vast array of mostly useless apps that you will never have an inkling to even care to click on and- maybe it's just me- but on setting up the TV after it's delivering, it took me over an hour to realize just how I can even customize the order in which the apps appeared on the home screen. I will say due to the exc ess bloatware being hardwired installed using up the memory available for the TV, it does lend a overly and quite significantly noticeable delay, lag and otherwise slower navigation through its interface. It's understandable considering it has a million different things. Firing at it s available actions at any given moment and they've built it that way for some reason that I will never understand. However, I cannot put up with the slow lag to the point of clicking an app and waiting sometimes up to a minute and a half for Hulu to properly and fully present itself and in a state where it is ready to be then picked through and utilized. And let's face it living in the world that we do today with the technologies that we have available -We are not patient people. In Fact we are so impatient that the mega corporation and Retail Goliath known as Amazon has recently aborted its attempts to continue production and development for its own in-house AI because of horrible feedback in customer compliance for those attached to the the the invite only beta's that have surfaced previously, (A major motivator here being that upon giving prompts to their subpar AI customers were made to wait sometimes upwards of 7 seconds for a response of any kind, let alone one that held accuracy.) taking this example as a single motivating Force behind their decision, you can clearly see the consensus behind demand for instant results in a tech war that led Amazon to acquire an aspiring - and might I add very promising - startup company that will now be supplying solely the AI components behind Amazon Corp. Amazon devices and ultimately ending an era of Alexa enabled home devices in place of newly and vastly more competent Claude, courtesy of Anthropic. Now that we've assessed the quality of the television itself in picture and sound quality, the major factors for purchasing a set and we've touched on the actual operating system. It's available integrations and overall user experience which in my eyes is a major determining factor In the final decision to purchase, let's point out a few quick pain points that I've discovered in this set and in Xumo as a whole. While the Bluetooth specs on paper are up to par, I find the Bluetooth to be unreliable and the overall initial area you visit in the navigation for the scan of nearby signals for available connexion to Bluetooth is very very frustrating due to the fact that it will only show one connection - sometimes two at a time if you're lucky - and these are always the most obvious nearby devices. Putting this into perspective, hit the Bluetooth tab in your quick settings on your mobile phone and then tap the button to pair a new device and let it scan nearby availability. What you'll get a vast vast and varied list of both major Electronics and minor signals emitted via LED strips or smart lights and other products in that realm of Bluetooth capability (depending on how you 've programmed your phone settings). My point is that I have successfully paired my television to a soundbar via Bluetooth one time, and nothing of importance has ever popped up again in its scanning. Fact often when I scan for Bluetooth devices on the TV it will not display any available devices and I have as of yet been able to pair my phone a Google Pixel 8 Pro to the television set. Whereas I have paired everything in my household at a microsecond of ease to that beast of a mobile device and mega monument in Google history for showcasing their Superior technology and what we have to look forward to in years to come. Another pain point is if you are somebody that enjoys screen casting or mirroring from one device to another and while the TV itself gives instruction on how to accomplish this task and has a dedicated area in its settings, set up for integrating Apple AirPlay again, I have yet to be able to screen mirror or screencast any device to my television set, even though in double-checking The most obvious and basic of reasonings behind this, my given devices are found to be on the same Wi-Fi network and in their own operating systems are advanced and capable enough to complete the connection. However, Xumo not only seems to ignore the entire possibility of casting, but goes a step further due to the fact that there is no third party "works with Google" available sign in within the Google home app to allow the authorization. And consequently, inclusion of the television set itself within Google Home. It's worth noting here that I do have a LG webos Smart TV I purchased not even a year ago from Best Buy and am in love with that easily integrated directly into Google home and I am able to control in Google home because of its sign-in authorization availability. And likewise, I have that same option in a Roku smart television my husband uses as a computer monitor thanks to the integration within Google home. Xumo has no such integration or capability. This may not be a deal-breaker for some, but for me. Had I known these few little facts before I purchased the television set, I never would have even humored the idea of purchasing this TV because I have come to find it to be very unhelpful, Annoying, inconvenient and incapable of the simplest of integrations that any other platform comes practically standard. The screencast alone is argument enough for me as I'm constantly casting my screen whether it be from my Chromebook to my television or my phone to my TV, utilizing speaker groups, accessing multipoints availability in my smart home, etc. None of this is available to me on the Xumo. I thought to myself that downloading the app may be useful in that some of these pain points worked themselves out with the accompaniment of the app usage alongside the TV and I was very wrong. Some people enjoy the app and actually use it on other systems. For me, it's simply another failed attempt, listed to push a product sadly shortbus among tech vehicles in market.

55" Pioneer XUMO TV installation
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 55" Pioneer XUMO TV was straight forward setting it up. Decent for the Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give this TV 4 stars for the value. Got it on sale for a little over $200 and didn't expect much but surprised it's a decent TV. Lacks screen quality and vividness that I'm used to with Samsung. The responsiveness is also lacking a little. I do like how the remote has quick access to steaming platforms and it's easy to use. Overall, I would recommend it for a second TV in your bedroom like my situation but not as your primary TV. I would recommend if you are on a budget and it's on sale.
