The reason why I gave this review is because the TV was defective, but it came straight out the box from the manufacturer I assume. I was so disappointed and had to return it for a different TV the next day after receiving it. It was my birthday TV. But I had no problems returning it and I ended up getting a 65in LG and that one works great!

So far, so good. The TV was easy to setup, connect to the Internet, and quickly recognized the attached devices (sound bar, DVD player). The picture is clear, and the sound seems good. It's new, so I have no way to know how it will last, but we're hoping for the best. The TV this one replaced was the newest of our current TVs and it died unexpectedly.

I bought this tv to replace a previous 70in that had shorted out. The view from my couch to the tv which we mounted to the wall is about 10 ft. It is the perfect size. The color and sound and picture quality are great especially for the price. I’m glad we made this purchase.

Awesome TV in every way! Incredibly clear picture with vibrant color and depth. Easy to set up and to learn to use. Roku platform makes it easy to use with Apps, Cable, Streaming, etc. Pioneer has always been a brand you can trust. Pre Black Friday sale made it the "Best Buy"!

Big and beautiful, easy to unbox and add the legs for standing. Clear, quick to set up, sounds good too.

I have always liked the ROKU interface and this TV is great. It actually has pretty decent sound without requiring a soundbar or receiver. Plenty of HDMI and Audio outs makes this an awesome tv

Was skeptical, based on the low price, but went ahead and placed order. Received timely delivery. Unit was easy to setup. Been using it for a couple weeks and happy with the performance. the only comment is that the speakers could have been better,. But hey, at this price point, what I saved on a 70" leaves enough in my pocket to get a sound bar.

Pioneer makes an exceptional tv- Picture color is clear, easy setup, sound and clarity super good and user friendly remote for options on shows we wanted to add. Purchased one and family member was over for football and loved the tv so he went to Best Buy to upgrade their tv for the next game.

This tv is big enough and works great! It's a good choice for someone who doesn't like the "soap opera" look of most modern tvs.

Really solid TV for the price. The picture quality is sharp and bright, and the Roku interface is super easy to use. Setup took only a few minutes. The speakers are decent but definitely better with a soundbar. Overall, great value for a 70-inch TV if you just want something big, simple, and reliable.

I was looking to find a bigger screen for my house. This came up as the deal of the day on Thanksgiving day, $20 cheaper than the Black Friday price, so I jumped on it. I'm very satisfied with the picture and ease of use. The sound volume may not be best for the hard of hearing, but I have a sound bar that is connected, so it's not a problem for me.

We are very pleased with the picture and sound on our 70” Pioneer smart tv. The cost of tv was affordable. The television was lightweight making it easy for my husband and I to hang.

First time buying a pioneer love that it looks super clear one thing is that the volume is super low I have to have it like at 75 to hear it well.

I bought the Pioneer 70” 4K Roku TV thinking, “This will be a nice upgrade.” What I actually purchased was a cinematic lifestyle change. First of all, 70 inches is not a TV — it’s a statement. My living room now feels like a sports bar that accidentally learned manners. Friends come over and immediately ask, “Is that thing legal?” I don’t know. I didn’t check zoning laws. The picture quality is so sharp I can see actors reconsidering their life choices in real time. I watched a nature documentary and felt personally judged by a bald eagle. Sports look incredible — I can see sweat, grass stains, and disappointment in HD clarity. Roku is built in, which means setup took less time than unboxing. I didn’t need a PhD or a teenager to make it work. It just… turned on. Suspiciously easy. Sound quality? Solid. Loud enough to scare the dog during action scenes and alert the neighbors that yes, the game is on again. I still added a soundbar because I have no self-control. Downsides: • My old TV now looks like a postage stamp • Family members fight over what to watch like it’s the Hunger Games • I can never go back to “normal-sized” screens Final verdict: If you want a TV that dominates your wall, boosts your ego, and makes you say “wow” every time you turn it on — this is it. Five stars. Would accidentally rearrange my furniture again.

I went from a 48 inch screen to a 70 inch screen. It was one hell of a great upgrade! I can see every detail of what I had been missing on my smaller TV. Closed captioning is even easier to read now for my older eyes. It's really amazing to be able to see and hear everything! And it was only $299! What a deal!

I go this Pioneer on a great deal and couldn't be happier! The picture quailty is great! Streaming thru the Roku can look a little grainy but that is due to the lower definition of certain channels. I've hooked up my Xbox and image is crisp during gameplay. Sound is good and clear but I do use a 5.1 receiver for watching movies. Wife had buyer remorse as we left the store, but as soon as I turned it on and watch our first movie, she couldn't be happier!

The TV looks great and was easy to set up. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Great price. The picture quality is excellent. Easy set up. The remote controller is compact and very easy to use.
