    I bought this drive bare bones, no software included. It work well, is fast and no issues so far. Can't say about the Blu-Ray functionality yet. But Best Buy actually had this drive at the lowest price which is why I got it there.

    The drive worked very well upon receipt with a few exceptions. The software was for MAC and the Nero software isn't software at all. Nero is only a demo to try to sell it. If you are running windows 10 pro, you install it on your machine and then you get no notification of it at all. I had to go looking for it to see if it was recognized. I'm still looking for the best software to take advantage of the, obviously, very good hardware. Basically, you get the hardware and best wishes.

    Initially, I bought another brand, but the Pioneer went on sale unexpectedly (like for only about 2 days) for the same price. Returned my previous unopened purchase and bought the Pioneer. No problems. Very happy. Anyway, I bought it to play Blu-ray on my PC laptop and/or Mac Book.
