I bought this drive to watch blu-ray movies on my laptop but found out it's nearly impossible to configure for that purpose so I returned it.

Very thin, light wait and does a good job, not the fastest DVD but more then adequate for most uses, and was really pleased with BluRay speed, faster then my last one.

Bit disappointed that I'm not able to play Blu-rays. Doesn't have software to do that function.

Drive is a bit bulky and a couple of times it had to be reseated to read certain cds and dvds. No data errors while reading or writing

The drive works as I needed it too. The door does not pop open all the way on it's own. I have to open it manually after it pop's open.

I had trouble playing BD. Had to go to internet to find third-party software. I was not happy due to the additional expense.

I bought this Blu-ray drive to use with a new Dell XPS 15 laptop, and it works great. Would buy it again.

Needed to get a blu-ray drive for my Macbook. had to get USB3.0 extension since it requires 2 ports, and mine are on opposite sides of the laptop. other than that, the drive works fine so far. a little loud but I just need it to read/write, not for watching blu-rays. like the "pop top" feature instead of the disc slot design

This product works nicely with my 64-bit Windows 10 laptop, with its excellent industrial design and full range of optical disks support.

I use this drive primarily make MKV files from blu-ray discs. It has worked every time. I love it. It takes around an hour for each disc.

It is not supposed to come with blu-Rey software so don't get heartbroken when it's not there. Very sturdy and reliable.

This is a good plug and play drive. I'm not crazy about the 2 usb port requirement, but i knew that before I bought it. It doesn't hit the advertised speed rating for BD-25/50 reads, but I'm not normally sitting in front of the Mac waiting on the drive either. If top speed is important to you, try another unit.

Great external Blu-Ray writer. Color goes perfect with my macbook and iMac. No complaints here.

Bought this to replace the flimsy one that came with my computer. It is just what I expected, with no cords only usb connection

I purchased this writer being told it could read and write blue ray. I downloaded and installed all programs for the writer, only to find out it will not read blue ray due to copy right laws. After a few days of software searching, attempts, and even talking with customer support, I gave up and returned it. All I wanted was to watch blue ray movies on my 4k laptop.

Only negative we have found, is you need to keep it on a hard surface. Laying in a bed or on the couch a little challenging

So far it been working well. I've been able to transfer pictures using this product without no problems

great blu ray player on each one of my computers software available free on line.

So far this drive has been working well for me. Easy to hook up to my laptop, and I've had success burning blu-rays.

All I can say it works but not on my old PC, maybe I'll buy it again when I update my laptop
