    I had a SCLX 501, 5.1.2 setup. Bought this 901 which blew me away - even at low volumes. My wife even watches movies with me again. I'm waiting for 2 additional rear height speakers for a 7.1.4. I can't stop smiling.

    My previous receiver was a Marantz sr5008. The audio quality in this receiver is amazing it is so much brighter than the Marantz and the surround sound processing is also much better. If you can afford the Hefty price tag I highly recommend it.
