After almost 3 years, this receiver is still going strong. Excellent theater-quality sound. We have not gone to the theater in the past 7 months due to COVID-19. Watching a movie at home with an equipment such as this Pioneer receiver makes it more fun.

I bought this receiver because it was on sale. It is a very good receiver. The set up process was not so bad. Unfortunately I cannot connect my 20 yr old subwoofer to it due to the advance in technology. I'm going to have to buy a new subwoofer. This is a great receiver by Pioneer, a trusted brand.

I wanted a good receiver, so naturally it had to come from Best Buy. I wanted to save some money so I ordered an "open box" one at one of your stores about 1 hour away. When we arrived to the store, it was there waiting for me. The Pioneer receiver is really great. I am really happy with it.

There’s s lot of reviews out there. Must be very picky people taking the time to scrutinize everything little detail. Ignore them. This is s great receiver. Yes it gets warm. That’s what 500watt receivers do. Volume is great. Looks sharp. Has all the bells & whistles.

My Sony Elite receiver, which was only 4 years old, had issues with the HDMI ports. I selected to replace the system with a this product. Sounds great, easy to program and takes up so much less space. Also, the larger Elite receiver really heated up. This system stays cool.

All the specs talk to this being a 7.2 receiver but it is not. It's 7.1. Returned because I needed a true 7.2 receiver.

Nice receiver but a little complicated to get all the different settings set how I want them. I was not familure with some of the terms used in the manual Wichita made it more challenging to set up.

Bought this to replace a 5.1 home theater in a box system. Must say that it is a great improvement. Able to run Dolby atmos 5.1.2 with my 4k blu ray player. Really like the pass through when the receiver isn't being used.

I purchased a pioneer vsx-50 5 years ago and is still working today. I upgraded to this one was because it has 4k passthrough and I know Pioneer makes receivers that last and so far I am very happy with my purchase.
