I'm using this with my Sony OLED 83 inch TV. Works great with the TV and speakers I purchased.

Ok but did not do what I wanted out if it. The reciever could not get all the components to operate properly.

Too complex to set up if you use an external amp for the front channels. No way to turn off the Alexa option, even if it has not been set up on the receiver. It totally interferes with my YouTube TV voice commands. What the heck is ZoneB. It should say main if you don't plan on using any external zones.

Defective unit. I was excited to upgrade, received my unit and it was dented and I received an "NG:L" error upon power up. I checked online and they said it was toast. I returned it immediately. I'm sure I got a bad unit but I wouldn't buy it again, I'll stick with Denon or Yamaha. The return at the Lewisville, TX store was easy. Shout out to Lewisville.

My recent purchase of the Pioneer Elite VSX-LX305 9.2 Channel Network AV Receiver, listed as “Open-Box EXCELLENT” condition, turned out to be a letdown. Despite the high expectations set by the condition rating, the package crucially lacked the remote control. This omission rendered me unable to set up or experience any of the receiver’s features, effectively making the unit unusable right out of the box. The absence of the remote was a significant oversight, especially given the “Excellent” condition promise, which one would assume includes all essential accessories for the product to function as intended. Due to this issue, I am compelled to return the receiver. It’s a shame because I was genuinely excited about integrating this high-quality piece of equipment into my home theater system. This experience has highlighted the importance of thorough checks on open-box items to ensure they meet customer expectations fully. Unfortunately, this was not the case for me, leading to a disappointing and inconvenient situation.

Easy-peasy purchase and pickup. High quality AV receiver upgrading my Yamaha system. About as high quality as you can get without spending lots more.

Is it OK? It’s not loud have a delay when I come on.

Returned this and a replacement one because they didn’t work. One would only have video and no sound then the other had sound no video. This was the worst purchase I have ever made

I have not even tried it out yet because the remote was not included so I'm considering a return. The actual picture of what you might be purchasing should be true and honest.

It works as described, nothing out of the ordinary. 2 reasons I returned, no room for growth and the 2.1 HDMI port would randomly lose single with Apple 4k and PS 5

I just bought this NOT even 3 months ago and I can no longer get sound out of it ! I paid over 700.00 and I cant return it to best buy according to there return policy!

Product is fine (though broke < 1 yr). Best Buy installation - constant cancellation, delays, and non existent customer service to assist.

Dea dont power up when i got it plus it had dent and no power

After waiting for shipping to send it, it came out of the sealed box and when I plugged it in it was already on and would not turn off. Pioneer support said to do firmware upgrade and then it was just stuck on some screen in the setup menu and wouldn't do anything or play any sounds.

Purchased a reboxed unit. Didn’t work and had to return. Inconvenient, however, the return process was handled perfectly

The Pioneer VSX-LX305 is a Great sounding receiver especially with Dirac Live Cal. You can have 3 zones playing different sources with 5.1 in main zone. iPhone app. works great. USB Method to speed up start of playing large amount of music files: Put all the files in one folder in the root directory. Put one song file in the root directory or make up a 5 second long mp3 that has silent audio. Click on the one song to start playing the music, after the one song or silent song is played it will start playing the music files in the folder. I have the repeat all and shuffle selected. I tried shorter silent mp3 but didn’t work.

This is definitely worth the wait. I was getting frustrated as i just retured the Maranatz Sr6015..garbage...ran hot..poor apps..sub par sound for the money. Which is why I am leaving this happy reivew for the Pioneer. Great user end product and Dirac is a real winner. I am listenig to the best my room has sounded wirh the Pioneer. The features, power, and sound hit the spot for me. Its been a long wait for a an upgrade and I think peoole will be really happy with this.

I recently splurged on a FULL Dolby Atmos speaker system, consisting of 4 surrounds, 1 center, and 2 subs. I bought a Denon from a local store on sale and hooked it up. But, the Atmos speakers were dead. Upon a search, I discovered that the 4 surround speaker needed 2 channels each to run both the surround and the attached Atmos speakers on top. So, I found this which cost a little more than a comparable Onkyo (they are made by the same company). I splurged for the Pioneer Elite, which I am very happy with for price. It had better details overall. I'm sure it will go down in price as tech moves forward, but for now if you want FULL Dobly Atmos, this works well.

Great Receiver with a lot of the latest tech and easy to use.
