I have a small home theatre room less than 200 Sq feet. But this cube adds nice base and depth. You have to manual adjust the frequency and while you don't need to be an expert you might want get suggesions online. I just kept both dials in the middle, works fine for me. Don't need to spend $500-$700 for a subwoofer if you have a small room.

I purchased this subwoofer with a Pioneer receiver and it has performed well. This is not a top-of-the-line premium subwoofer, but delivers good bang for the buck. Crossover is good and I was able to easily dial in the optimum (for me) level to ensure strong bass without overpowering the rest of the speakers. Worth the money.

I bought this to replace my mom's old subwoofer from 2002 that just died, but was a little disappointed that I couldn't find a picture of the back of it when I got home on the Best Buy site or any other website that sold it. I wanted to make sure it had a digital coaxial connection, which I ended up suspecting that it didn't have. So I brought it back to the store to get a different one that did and there was actually someone available to help me this time. He told me that you just plug the coaxial connection to the left input and it works the same. He was right; it sounds phenomenal! :) There's a speaker on the bottom too!

This was purchased to be used with a tv sound bar and it balances out the sound wonderfully. Great price and quality.

My surround sound system base woofer took a power surge hit and fried. I needed a replacement. Based on the price, reviews, and performance write-ups, I decided to purchase this unit. It has delivered as advertised and has filled the base need of my system. Great for an average sized home theatre room as a replacement.

If subwoofers do their job, it's kind of hard to even tell the difference between a good and bad one. This is clearly a good one. I like the real wood exterior and the price was right.

This is my second pioneer subwoofer, the same exact as my first one that I purchased from best buy about three years ago. I could not wait to get the same subwoofer for my second sound system. Good quality.

I use it in a moderate sized family room. It brings our solid clear base which make the sound and experience richer and more enjoyable. At higher levels you "feel" the base in shows and movies that would rattle a theater. The auto power off when no input has been received is nice too. It will auto power up when it receives input. I had looked at a larger unit, but this was less intrusive space wise... but still enjoyable.

Subwoofer delivers great sound and enhances the overall viewing experience. Also it is stylish and adds to the decor.
