I had reservations at the point of purchase, but find the sub to be very effective just like the large sub. I can easily recommend it to any individual who might be looking for a nice sub.

Good sub for mid range audio system

It definitely out performs the older Sony but was a tad pricey for its performance. Still, would recommend for mid ranged systems.
