Little Boom !!

The Best Buy associate helped me pick this one out and it really fills the bill. Although probably a little large for my listening area, smaller options are much more expensive.

Does not automatically turn off as advertised

Used speakers from previous system but had to buy a sub that was powered on its own and cables couldn't be converted. As stated in the summary it doesn't turn off automatically as the instructions say it will when no sound is being pushed to it from the receiver.

Not quite what I expected, But descent enough

It is a decent woofer, but if you can, save your money for a bigger better woofer, (klipsch, energy, bowers and wilkins, definitive technology, etc.)

Kickin' subwoofer

When watching movies it will rattle the windows. I have two. And it makes a huge difference. Quality product at a reasonable price. Pioneer is a good name

The new Sony receiver performs exceptional in other areas. Definitely kept me from returning the new receiver.
