This 8" inch subwoofer is an addition to another subwoofer. I utilized the Rocketfish wireless subwoofer kit, and a line-level gain booster (LGB-1) and the subwoofer is pumping harder then my hard wired 12 inch JBL E250P. It catches the low end as if it's a bigger subwoofer.

I bought this subwoofer to power my shelf system that had a subwoofer out and to tell you the truth I am very satisfied with this sub. Make sure you have the phase set correctly otherwise it might seem like it doesn't have enough bass. Even for a small sub this does the trick.

I needed a subwoofer to go with my stereo/theater system which I had upgraded with 2 polk tower speakers. The bass was in need of improvement [not surprising for skinny towers with 4" speakers] hence the subwoofer. It plugged right in and ran like it should. After some adjustment of crossover point and volume I'm happy. It is on standy all the time and powers up when you switch on the receiver. This unit will not please those who want a lot of home theater bass but it represents a moderate price above the very cheapest $90 units

This subwoofer truly completes my epic 7.1 surround sound setup! Very happy with the quality of the sound within my medium-sized apartment. Not too heavy and never too slight. Makes all of my favorite movies roar to vibrant life. Recommend enthusiastically!

I picked up this sub to pair with a set of Audioengine A2+ computer speakers. When on sale, this sub is priced right and sounds great. It isn't too big, but packs a lot of sound without thumping or distorting.

This was a nice replacement for my Cerwin-Vega sub whose amp went bad. I was actually pretty happy with this while it lasted. The speaker went bad after 18 months. Was getting a rattle from inside the speaker cone itself. It would stop if I put my hand on the rubber of the cone. Not good. I like down firing subs but the actual speaker itself is kinda cheap and not good quality. Warranty is only a year. Luckily my credit card company doubles the warranty and gave me my money back on this. I decided to take the speaker from my cerwin-vega sub and throw it in this and the sound is sooooo much better. Should have done that from the beginning. The amp is fine, love the blue light and the auto on-off works better than any other sub out there. But Pioneer does not make quality speakers. I paid $79 for this but you are better off spending a little more money and get a Polk, Klipsch, Cerwin-vega or a real sub.

Hooked this up to a pioneer receiver with small Bose speakers (201's & Bose center speaker). This Sub brought these speakers to life!! Movie theater sound. Fantastic!!

This little subwoofer hits very hard. Don't be fooled by the small size. I have a good size living room and this subwoofer shakes the house. Pick it up . You can't beat it for the price.

Purchased the Pioneer Subwoofer based on the number of excellent reviews. I had no idea the sounds I was missing until I added the subwoofer to my LCD TV. Everything now sounds incredible!!!

We really like the thump of bass it puts off when watching a movie or listening to music.

Excellent sub woofer for the price. Using it along with sony floor standing speakers and a Denon AVR.

After searching for two days to find the right connectors that would allow me to connect this subwoofer to any normal modern receiver I finally got it connected and was very disappointed in the level face that it offered. I have tried and Sony 400 watt subwoofer a Yamaha 100 wide subwoofer and anothe low end walmart Sony subwoofer and this was by far the least impressive. I was also disappointed as the rest of the speakers in this line are top quality. Maybe I just got a lemon, but this one was a huge letdown

This provided me with the area of sound that I was missing

BOUGHT THIS TO MATCH WTH MY YAMAHA RECIVER AND WAS A PERFECT MATCH AFTER LEVELING SUB TO MATCH VOLUME LEVEL COULDNT ASK FOR ANYTHING ELSE WAY TO GO PIONEER

This makes my man cave that much more mantastic. Very powerful great for when gaming and watching movie

Bought this sub for my client. He says it hits hard.

The first one I bought lasted me a little over a year and the amp went out. To get it repair was almost the same price as a new one. So, I decided to get a second one and give it a try. Same thing, a little over a year, the amp went out. Pioneer people where not helpful at all in helping me with the issue. Gave up on this Sub.

Primarily used for surround sound system. It does an good job for its size, it needs to have 2 inputs
