nice deep sound easy to tune in makes the whole house shake if you want it too

If your looking for a really good woofer at the lower price range than this is it. .. sounds amazing. Hits really hard.

First off, this sub is entry level. The real biggest downside is its tuned to 38hz I believe. So it doesn't go real low. Of course you can't expect much better from an 8" woofer. I also have the Polk audio psw10. They sound similar but this one gives off cleaner tighter bass in my opinion. This sub won't fill a large room and is best for small rooms and setups. If your serious about home theater and sound than you want a sub that goes down to 20hz. Your missing a lot of content with this sub. I knew all of this going in, and for the frequency range that it's capable of it sounds really clean. This sub will hold me over until I can get a more capable one. Overall it's great for its price point, but it leaves you wanting more.

This is a powered subwoofer. The installation was easy. The sound is very good. Would highly recommend.

Ok so my father has his own nice set up in the living room and Black Friday came so I thought its time I start mine in my room. I went out bought a pioneer VSX-23 receiver already had speakers to wire up just needed the subwoofer. I saw this on sale for 110 bucks and it matched with pioneer and was big enough for my room. I don't need a big 12' sub drowning out the sound. I bought a Monster M Series M850 subwoofer cable after about listening to it after a week. Wow was i impressed with performance of the sub! I think it delivers the deep deep bass that I wanted but doesn't sound muddy at all. Crisp, clean, punchy bass that sounds perfect for movies or music. Would definitely recommend this for any audiophile starter!
