A fun movie. I see that Best Buy is no longer going to carry physical media(except gaming), so decided to grab a 4K version. There is a vast difference when viewing this in 4K over Blu-Ray so I feel it is worth is. Streaming just doesn't have the same impact for me.

Great film, Johnny depp shines as Jack sparrow as he embodies the pirate he was meant to play

The first in the series of Pirate's Of The Caribbean, and our favorite. I pre-purchased it because my original didn't have a digital copy and I since bought a 4K Blu-ray. It looks fabulous on Samsung 65" OLED playing on Panasonic 4K 420 model.

This movie is almost 20 years old and still holds up. It's an amazing movie with a fantastic performance from Depp in the middle of it. The only downside is that the 4K transfer is not the best. Disney dropped the ball here.

Good movie and excllent 4k edition. I would recommend for people who haven’t see the movie in some years.

Love this movie and the 4K upgrade and atmos upgrade are good. My one complaint is that the HDR could be better, colors don’t pop like I think they should.

'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' is not only the best of the franchise, but a classic blockbuster in its own right. 4K still isn't a viable, accessible format for most people, so Blu-ray is where it's at. This movie, at this price, in this format? It's a steal.

Johnny Depp is perfect in the role as Captain Jack Sparrow. A visually impressive movie as well as adventurous and fun throughout. A great start to what has become a very popular series of films.

i saw this movie when i was younger.. so i did not like it since i thought it was goofy and the story didnt make sense to me. fast foreword to now and i have to say, it is better than i remember! the characters are god and funny the music is great the effects still hold pretty well over all this movie still holds up great as a family movie
