    The movie looks and sounds great on Blu-ray, but story-wise it lacks what made the first three films in this series so good. Just like Part 4, this 5th movie in the franchise didn't live up to expectations. Disney should make one more 'Pirates' movie to tie up all loose ends, and then call it quits.

    Depp's schtick got old about 3 movies ago, and the plot holes could swallow whole krakens, however some of the effects are astounding and they do nicely bring a few story lines full circle (or do they??) so worth a watch. Nice viewed in UHD with HDR but the Blu Ray version is just fine for fewer $$.
