This was a really pretty Steelbook with a matte finish, but the movie was pretty average. Definitely truer to the series than the last installment, but still almost a miss. Buy the Steelbook if you’re a collector, though!

A never boring sequel to a great movie, this installment isn't anything new or revolutionary, but it's still a good time. You know what you're getting into when you put this on and in that regard it doesn't disappoint.

May have rated this a 3 1/2 if we could. The story line is getting old. There are some surprises though which also leads one to think another movie could follow. It may be time to bury this treasure at sea.

Some of the commonly repeated themes and jokes in the series. The comedy is always good but the overall plot was disappointing. If you like the series you will enjoy the film, otherwise you might be underwhelmed.

Like the story,but could have been a little better if they didn't had to force too much screen time on the newest characters, hopefully the oldest characters have more screen time on the next 2 movie installments

After seeing all previous pirates of the Caribbean movies, you will get a sense that they run out of plots to continue on the series. Nevertheless is its a good movie to collect if you have the previous films.

While this movie was better than the 4th one it was still the 2nd worst in the series. The movies went downhill ever since the 1st however this provided an uptick over the last one but that isn't saying much.

Actually wasn't so sure on this as the last movie left a sour taste in my mouth. Overall it was pretty good. Probably land in somewhere in the middle of all the Pirates movies if I where to rate them.

To me this is more of the same from the POTC franchise. That said the 4K quality really makes the scenery stand out which worked in the film. If you are a fan of the franchise you will like this.

Jack sparrow wasn’t himself in this movie as well as his crew, could be a little better but it’s ok, it’s allot better than stranger rides, that movie was garbage and u don’t really need to see it

The Pirates of the Caribbean movies have gotten worse as the years go by. The first one was great but the sequels have been mediocre. The SteelBook case is the best thing about this movie.

ok but the fun was burnt out on this, the 4th, installment. A few funny scenes, storyoline was interesting, but all and all not any where near as entertaining as the previous movies.

Not my favorite movie in this series. I think most, if not all, of them are now available on Disney+

Not certain as to why but it feels like the franchise should take a rest. This installment of the “Pirates” series is lamer than earlier episodes. Still an enjoyable watch though.

Movie was ok but main intention was for 4K HDR. Clarity is really good but the movie lacked the HDR pop but it is a dark POTC after all. Why would this one be any different????

I really thought they going to how the original was. But again, I was let down. The trailers were better. At least its a little better than 3 and a lot better than 4

This movie was much better than I thought it would be since it was so far along in the sequels. If you liked the other movies in the series, you will enjoy this one.

Nothing new. More of the same. We sure miss Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. This franchise is getting tired.

It is a professionally done brew of action, and slapstick comedy. However it time for the sinking ship with no habor in sight to slip and make way for new horizons.

Not the best Pirates movie, but not the worst. Still an enjoyable watch for the Disney fan
