Very good movie love that its 4k. I would recommend

Another crazy adventure with Captain Jack Sparrow.

Most folks tend to be split when it comes to the Pirates franchise at this point; and I certainly am too. Whereas the original "Black Pearl" film will hold a special place in my heart, I'm beginning to grow a little tired of the same old Pirate formula in the movies. With DMTNT, it feels like just another Jack Sparrow adventure. That's not to say that the formula isn't good, or that the movie isn't VERY entertaining - because it is that. The case itself is probably one of the better ones out there. It has an embossed skull and just a lot of visual appeal. If you see it in the wild, I'd say snag it up.

THE MOVIE SHOULD DO MORE BETTER FOR FANS OF THE SERIES PUT IT IS STILL GOOD

I have thoroughly enjoyed each of the entries in the Johnny Depp "Pirates of the Caribbean" saga. Captain Jack Sparrow has become as iconic in the this last twenty years as Luke Skywalker was in the twenty years preceeding him. This latest entry is outstanding and ties the entire saga together in an ending that is as uplifting as it is satisfying. If this is indeed theend of the "Pirates" saga, as many believe, it goes out with a bang!

This is a great addition to the series Pirates of the Caribbean. All the movies with good starting with a Curse of the Black Pearl the others were okay but not since Curse of the Black Pearl has another movie stepped up like Dead Men Tell No Tales. This one picks up with Curse of the Black Pearl left off fantastic movie great stunts great action and a few surprises along the way excellent addition to anybody who owns the series Pirates of the Caribbean. I highly recommend it if you're Pirates of the Caribbean fan like I am get it you won't be disappointed.

A great film. Maybe not enough Jack being "wily" but great cast, lots of cool sets and details - saw this in theater twice. Sent to my aging parents who enjoyed it so much they went back and ordered the disk for POTC1, which they hadn't seen in years. A very worthy entry to the franchise and I really hope they do more of these. I liked the last POTC but this one is definitely up there without the feeling of "cutting the budget" e.g. setting a lot of scenes on land. And I appreciate that this set had the BR and the DVD and my folks actually watched the extras too.

At this point it really seems like Disney needs to end this franchise. I really enjoyed the first three films but I feel like these last two, most notably this last one was just an average movie at best.

I think that "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" was once again one of the greatest Disney films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite Disney films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" films several times and I also think that "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action, drama, mystery, humor and suspense including amazing and original personal/suspenseful storylines.

The fifth in the series of Pirates of the Caribbean films - "Dead Men tell No Tales" stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. In this film deadly ghost sailors led by his old nemesis, the evil Capt. Salazar, escape from the Devil's Triangle. Jack's only hope to survive lies in seeking out the Trident of Poseidon. To find the Trident, he must forge an alliance with a brilliant and beautiful astronomer Carina (Kaya Scodelario) and a young British navy man. The Blu-ray video is exceptional and the audio is presented in lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1

This was the only Pirates movie I didn't see in theaters as the reviews upon release weren't exactly favorable. My family and I really enjoy this series and watch them regularly at home. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this was. A little over the top and perhaps a bit hard to believe in places but its meant to be a fantasy. My only real complaint was that I found the audio a bit muffled, especially for Xiavier Barden's lines where I often couldn't make out what he was saying. Overall though another great romp in the fantasy world of Pirates.

This is the only Pirates of the Caribbean movie not on Disney+ (it will arrive on the service in December) and our pint-sized pirate fan needed to see the last entry in the series. Turns out Best Buy has the disc and digital copy for less than any streaming service has it for purchasing. Great deal, and Best Buy’s curbside pickup was excellent. You helped make quarantine bearable Best Buy!

This movie finds another villain to chase Jack Sparrow across the 7 seas - this time a ghost captain who hates pirates. While it expands the back story of Jack and plenty of typical pirate action, it does fall short in a few places - namely in some of the ridiculous moments that are either going to make you laugh or cringe. Barbosa has become a more interesting character than Jack, IMHO - mainly because he has been given some new levels, whereas Jack is still... Jack. If you are a fan of the series, this will likely meet your expectations.

A continuation of the story some years latter after At World's End, and follow Will Turner and Elizabeth's Swans son henry Turner (Brenton Thwaites) on his search to free his father from the curse of the flying dutchman by finding the lost trident of Poseidon. Along the way he meets Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) who is searching for Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Deep) in revenge for cursing him and his men. Definitely worth the watch, special effects and the actors where good, but I think the story line could have been a little stronger.

I was impressed with both the PQ and audio in the 4K HDR version of Dead Men Tell No Tales. The 4K audio was in ATMOS with truly excellent sound dispersion in both the action and talk scenes. PQ was great on my LG OLED using an OPPO player . There were absolutely no imperfections found. I usually find at least some minor flaws in the picture but this particular 4K had none. The movie itself is a pleasant ride for POTC fans but perhaps less so if you are not. I do recommend highly the 4K version of this film if you are POTC fan.

The case looks great. The movie is okay, I would say the worst in the series since the story had a lot of holes in it and the ending was a cliffhanger.

The movie that is. The Blu-ray/digital/DVD combo i love it as i can watch anytime on any device! Pirates of the Caribbean 5. They say it was gonna be the last and i would have been fine after 3, so i wasn't expecting much before i watched this movie. But, with that said, i was delightfully surprised. This was a good flick. For me, with a rating scale of 1 to 10, i'd give it a good solid 7. It's worth the watch and good to watch more than once.

This steel book set is beautifully designed. However, unless you are a die hard Pirates of the Caribbean fan, you may not need to go all out and purchase this set. The movie is entertaining, and the special effects are very neat, but the whole movie felt like it was made just to appease the bigger fans of the series, rather than give a compelling story. It’s still better than the second and third film. If you collect steel books for their designs, then this is one you will definitely want to add to your collection.

If you're a fan of the previous movies of the series, then you'll definitely like "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales". It captures some of the fun elements that made the first three movies so enjoyable with its over the top storyline and scenery. The UHD presentation is quite good and will definitely shine on your 4K TV. It's great to see Disney now beginning to release some of their newer movies on UHD. Hopefully we'll start seeing more of their back catalogue begin to make their way over.
