This movie was actually funny at parts. I was a little hesitant to watch this movie thinking, 'how good could they really make another one of these?' But this one was actually worth watching. And if your going to see a Pirates movie then it's gotta be in 4k. This movie is worth buying on 4k and something that you'll watch more than once.

Say what you will about the Pirates franchise, but I find a lot of enjoyable rewatchability in these films - the adventure, mystery, supernatural, absurdity - all with a dash of history. I recommend the 5th installment, in that it still carries heart and the spirit of the original.

The saga continues! Enjoyed the "Dead Men Tell No Tales". I have the whole collection now and they never get old. I did go to the theater to see this one and remembered the opening action scene so well. The Bonus feature really make this DVD. A must have if you are a Pirates of the Caribbean fan!

The latest entry in the Pirates of the Carribean series doesn't disapoint - it has all the elements that make these enjoyable. The fun, humor, stunts, and over-the-top (sometimes intentionally silly) action are what we have come to expect.Although it has creepy villains, it is not quite as dark as a couple of the previous movies.

Steelbook looked great, unfortunately i didnt keep it for some reason i thought it was the complete series of the pirates of the Caribbean, but it wasnt so i took it to my local best buy to return but definitely recommend steelbook art looked grear

I did not watch this movie in the theater because of the mediocre reviews. However, on a whim, I decided to pick it up when it came out on Blu Ray. Story line ties up some loose ends and introduces some new characters. It was very entertaining and had some very nice effects. Just what you would expect from a big budget Disney film. I would suggest everyone watch and judge for themselves.

I know this movie received bad reviews and the last couple movies kind of lost me but I wanted to give this movie a shot. I bought it in 4K because there still isn't much 4K content. available for my TV. I won't go into details about the movie but it looked great. It wasn't filmed in 4K but they do a good job of up scaling the movie. I recommend this movie if you want to see good visuals

If your a Captain Jack Sparrow fan, you're guaranteed to love this movie! Johnnie Depp is in true character once again with his quick wit and pirate swagger. The plot and special effects are incompatible! I watched it in the theater and ordered the steel box collector's edition blue ray and digital version. Two thumbs up!!!

I’ve always been a fan of the pirate movies but it seemed that I missed the last one when it was in theaters. I was recently adding to my movie collection and needed to grab this. I love that it includes both the DVD and BluRay as well as a digital copy. Great price too!

I got it on black friday, and ultra 4k was the cheapest version of the movie! I just recently got a xbox one x, so this movie was my first sampling of using the 4k. I already liked this movie before, but seeing it in 4k made it more beautiful! Also, being a huge pirates fan, I'm glad i got this movie for a bargain price.

I was blown away by all the special effects with just a standard Hi Def Television set, than God it was a Blu-Ray disc player to watch all the stunning action. Johnny Depp was thrilling to watch again as well as the rest of the cast. Paul McCartney had a small role, I wish it had been larger. Oh well can't be too picky.

Interesting back story with a happy ending for Will and Barbosa's daughter. Though it seemed to lack some of the previous films exciting action scenes. And there were a number of slow and unnecessary scenes. But over all okay entertainment. I think to make another film in this series would be a waste.

After a somewhat lackluster 4th outing, the Pirates franchise rights the ship with Dead Men Tell No Tales. It feels more like what made the franchise enjoyable in the first place. The only real complaint I have is that Disney didn't release the 3D version on home video in the US, but it's a minor nit to pick. If this is truly the end of the series, it's a fitting way to go.

I honestly enjoyed nearly every one of these movies---except ON STRANGER TIDES. For some reason, it didn't sit too well with me. Maybe if watched it again, something may make me like it.

I fun wild romp in with the Disney pirates, Not the best of the film franchise but a fun film.

This item was a requested Christmas gift for a grandchild. It was difficult to locate at stores selling DVDS. Most stores that had it were out of stock. Since I prefer shopping in mortar and brick stores, I was relieved to find 2 copies still available at Best Buy in Wausau and I can fulfill part of a wish list.

This was one of the best swashbuckler dvd's I'v seen in ages! I think Johnny Depp was great - getting away from his doped out performances from the previous Pirates movies. This made everything more plausible; move believable. I hope Disney carries on with another Pirates film in this vein. Overall - 5 stars!.

As a big fan of the franchise, this was a must see. If you are not a fan, this would not be the one to start with. Start with the first one about the Black Pearl. This movie was too much like a horror movie for my taste. It was also a bit ore violent than the others, which might not appeal to parents looking for a family movie. So, recommended for fans only.

Special effects on the ghost pirates and other characters were very realistic and truly groundbreaking. The sound is an added bonus with 4K 7.2 sound system. I enjoyed most of the movie, but starting to get tired of sparrow, and don’t see the reason to glorify the non-stop drunken behavior. I just think they need to give the character a little reality check.
