It is such a fun movie, the script is great, the actors are fantastic, great special effects. I would watch it at least once a year. So, buy it ASAP.

Blu-ray may have been better quality. The only other movies i’ve seen this poorly converted to 4k was the planet of the apes trilogy. Very sad to see such an amazing movie handled poorly for quality.

Didn’t know if 4K would make a difference just wanted a digital copy because when this movie first came out on Blu-ray did not have one ….. however I’m so very glad I got this upgrade the picture the sound is astounding well worth getting if you love this series!!!!

This is one of my two favorite Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Still the most enjoyable and well rounded of all of them!

A number of online reviewers and commenters have claimed this is the worst 4K disc; unfortunately, I can confirm it's the worst I've seen this far. Far too dark, resulting in a noticeable lack of bright highlights. The digital noise reduction is blatantly obvious, particularly in mid shots, and takes away any contrast. The Atmos is solid, but not strong enough to overcome the disappointment that is the video transfer. Keep or buy the old blu-ray instead.
