I really liked the movie and the contents that came with.

While the packaging is cool and respectful to the original poster, this movie’s transfer is absolute garbage. Disney does not seem to care anymore about physical media and it really is disappointing. Aside from it still having the standard Blu-Ray that has an incredible transfer and comes with killer special features, this disc is just not worth it.

Johnny Depp makes these movies worth watching !!! !

The 4K transfer on this is surprisingly horrible. Thank goodness the correct version is on the blu-ray.

Great movie, but terrible 4K. Too much DNR, and it looks like an upconverted bluray.

It's an okay movie, it would have been better without Johnny Depp. He get's on my nerves, in the movie he's too erratic. If he got in my face like he did to people in the movie i would have throat punched him.

DO NOT BUY THE 4K version. It is worse picture quality than the blu-ray. It was almost unwatchable.

Utter garbage. Disney really hates physical media, and this shows it. One of the WORST 4k discs I have ever seen. The Bluray looks better and even that doesn't look "good." Shameful. Avoid this at all costs.

The 4K transfer and the audio was not good at all. This is a shame because the movie is a classic that should be treated with respect but sadly Disney only seems concerned with Disney Plus. This could’ve been way better.

This is a terrible transfer of the movie.... to the point if you put in a normal blu ray print it will look far better than the 4k transfer.

the dvd did not play in either of my dvd players orelsei would have liked it better

Great movie with the worst 4K remaster ever , DNR used so heavily it wipes away all fine detail . I don't know what Disney thought they were doing !

i love the first pirates of the carribbean but it saddens me the picture quality of the 4k is beyond awful..you are better off staying with the blu ray

Heavy DNR, and one of the most punchless audio tracks I’ve heard on 4K. C’mon, Disney, you can do better!

One of my favorite movies, but this 4k release is really bad. Go buy an older version of the standard blu-ray instead.
