    Brings simplicity to smoking meats, which is what I was looking for after using a wood/charcoal offset smoker. Easy to start when others in the family want to grill on it. The sear plate works as advertised and can sear a steak with ease when using as a grill. It took me about and hour and a half assemble by myself. Very sturdy and well built. Only complaint is it does not come with meat probes which I purchased separately. But the cover included with this model is a bonus.

    I have used for about 3 months, smoked brisket, pork butt, pork ribs and meatloaf. Have no complaints about the job this smiiker did. Easy to operate and control.

    I've had my Pro series 850 for a year now and love it. take about 20 mins to heat and I have medium-rare ribeye steak in 8 to 10 mins depending on how thick the cut is.
