I loved the first one better, usually happens that way, but this one was great entertainment! So glad so many of the Bellas were still in it :)

Sequels rarely surpass the originals, the rule applies in this case. However, PP2 was still an enjoyable film. Retained the humor of the first.

I bought this movie without seeing it in theaters. I really liked the first "Pitch Perfect" and was really hoping they would hit the same note with the sequel. It had some funny moments but overall wasn't that good. I would recommend people rent or borrow from a friend before deciding if they should make their purchase. Entertaining? Yes. As good as the first one? No. Would I recommend? Meh, I recommend you watch before you buy.
