The sequel tries to capture the charm and wit of the original but falls short. Making things bigger or funnier doesn't constitute to a better film. I felt the movie tried to do too much. However, I did enjoy the music.

First off let me start by saying the movie is good but not as good as the first. It starts off with some crude humor that in my opinion could have been done a little better. The story line was not put together well.

I loved the first one and expected even better out of this one but i was disappointed. It has a couple of laughs but nowhere near the first one. Recommend renting first to make sure you want to buy it.....sorry.

Picked this movie up right after I saw Pitch Perfect. This doesn't even compare to the first part. However it is a good movie if you do not compare it to the first. Still a good movie for teenagers and adults.

It is so difficult to do comedy. It is even more difficult to build on a successful comedy film. Pitch Perfect 2 tried its best, and did well in several moments, but ultimately fell short.

This was a birthday present for my daughter who is hooked on this movie. It's a musical without the instruments, acapela (sp?) to be specific. It has it's share of drama but the singing is good. A fun movie.

Pitch perfect two it's hilarious but not so amazing that my friends and I are one lining each other with sayings from the movie. That bring said it was worth the purchase and I would watch it again.

It's not as good as the first by any means, but my wife liked it well enough, and I like completing series, so I bought it anyway. Take it or leave it. I got it for a nice price on Black Friday.

It's not as good as his predecessor however this movie really made an impact with the modern-day a cappella groups and songs. If you're a fan of the original you would really enjoy the sequel.

Although this movie was unique, it was no where near as good as the first. I enjoyed the sense of humor for one movie, but the second time was just too much. Should've just been one movie.

This movie was OK for a sequel. I definitely preferred the first one. At times scenes seemed forced. It was obvious that this is path to transition the franchise to the "next generation".

As with most sequels, this follow-up is not as good as the original. This is average viewing. If you liked the first movie, you will probably enjoy watching the second as well.

Target audience is teenage girl movie some laughs and some enjoyable moments. I recommend it if your daughter or someone interested in the movie other than that it's average.

Little disappointed. Not as good as the first. The music was not as good and the story contrived. Could be my age, 62, but the first is one of my all time favorite movies.

We were so excited to see this movie because we loved the first one. We were a little disappointed because the sequal was not near as funny. It was good, but not great.

It wasn't as good as the first, but still solid enough. Most sequels aren't as good as the first, and that is fine as long as it is good enough to watch. This was.

As a stand alone movie it's not bad by any means. I just loved the first one so much that I was expecting more from the sequel and it fell flat of my expectations.

Despite the efforts of production, the script continues to be bland. There's not new situations or great plot development... and the end is predictable...

Pitch perfect 2 is the typical sequel. Funny moments but the original is way better. I would definitely say pick this movie up but don't expect to love it
