A friend lent me their copy of this movie. Liked it very much, so bought a copy for myself. If you like musicals, you will enjoy this movie. Very talented singers, gorgeous women (if you like eye candy), comedic actors, with a little romance in ivy league college background setting. Liked it better the second time around.

I bought this movie for my girlfriend because she was always watching it on cable when it came on but sometimes she would randomly say she felt like watching it, So I ended up getting it for her. Then one day she made me watch it with her and I must say it did make me laugh. Very funny & entertaining movie! Must watch!

This film is one of the better surprises I've had with a movie. I had heard good things, and finally purchased it... Blew me away. It is one of those movies that you can watch over and over and still laugh and enjoy it every time. Cast and story make the film work well, and the music aspect is the icing on the cake.

I love this movie! Oddly enough so does my 3 year old nephew! I purchased my blu-ray combo from BB, after searching for weeks. I knew this would be the perfect gift to give my nephew, to accompany the portable DVD player I bought him. My sister loves me for it, because she loves the movie to! My brother-in-law.... Not so much!!

Love music, love to laugh than you will LOVE FAT Amy and her Acagirls! This character kept me laughing with her quick wit! It is your typical teenagers, loves music, love to laugh, with a kinda love story. It's a little corny at times, but that's what makes the movie hilarious! AcaAwesome!! Buy the movie you'll know what I mean.

When I first saw Pitch Perfect, I didn't think I was going to like it. I was wrong. It's actually a funny, original, silly feel good movie that has some very catchy moments. I found myself wanting to YouTube certain scenes to listen to the music well after I watched the movie. I would recommend it for anyone that enjoys comedies, music, or just wants to escape for a couple of hours and relax.

I bought this movie on a whim and I am so glad I did! It was much better than I thought it would be. A movie about A Capella? How good could it be? REALLY GOOD. Loved the mixes they did and my daughter can't get enough of it - have the soundtrack in the car now. Can't wait for the next movie in May!

Love this movie--have watched it several times with my daughter and rest of family. I just wish they had not ever made this movie with the vomit scene--oh well. I love this catchy song. Grateful to the person at Best Buy who found it for me immediately because it was one of his favorites too.

This is not the funniest or most well-done comedy, but is still a movie you want to see again. I love a cappella singing anyway, and this combines it with humor, particularly Rebel Wilson, who can consistently make you laugh. Anna Kendrick may not have been my first choice for this role, and the film seems to try a little too hard to be funny at times, such as using racial or other jabs, but is still overall a fun flick.

My wife insisted I watch this movie with her. I usually do grudgingly after a weak attempt at arguing. But, I was actually surprised with how funny the show was. I liked the singing, and I'm no "musical guy." The acting was really good, too. Rebel Wilson is hilarious. You should give it a try.

This movie was a lot of fun! At first glance, I thought it was going to be a cheesy chick-flick... but this is something everyone can enjoy... so if you want or need to get credit for watching a chick-flick with your girlfriend or wife, this is one that guys can enjoy as well!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she is totally elated. She loves this movie and will watch it several times over. She's looking forward to part 2 coming this year. The Blu-ray brought this movie more to life for her and a new Blu-ray player completed the package deal.

No surprise, this is a chick flick. But from a guy's perspective, it wasn't intolerable to watch. Probably a better rental than purchase unless it's one of those movies that resonates with you. But if your looking for a movie to please the lady in your life in that she's tired of giant monsters, thawed out World War 2 heroes and movies about Tom Cruise dying over and over (and over) again, you could do worse.

this was actually good, i don't know what i was expecting in the first place but the end product was just amazing! art was fun, funny, emotional. the cast was great and great chemistry amongst them

I love this movie, but then again I tend to really like any movie having to do with music. The cast of the movie are all perfect in their roles. Rebel Wilson of course tends to steal most scenes she is in. Overall, if you appreciate great singing talent, you will appreciate this movie.

I didn't know what to expect when the wife picked this movie, but I'm glad she did. It was very entertaining. While it wasn't the usual movie I would select, I have no regrets buying it. Looks like there is a free movie ticket for the sequel. Guess we will see that too!

I've seen the movie many times on HBO, but I can't seem to get enough. It's got a good story line, but the music is why you need to watch it. In the DVD extras you need to listen to the director/producer narrate, you'll learn a lot about the process, the casting and the music.

Friends originally "forced" me to watch this movie when it was first released. Boy did I get a surprise! It turned out to be hilarious and even had me humming/singing along to the music, as well as looking for the soundtrack. It is a great addition to any home movie collection!

Fun movie. Great harmonies! Silly, cute and romantic. Adorable. So fun to watch. The songs c will get stuck in your head. I love the guys a capella group and the funny lead singer, love the sing-off battles, love Anna Kendrink, and I love the cups song. Cute, silly movie.

We bought this movie for our daughter. It has good covers of songs, and the groups are very talented. It has a decent plot as well. It's just not all singing. I actually liked the movie where before I watched it I didn't think it would be a movie I was interested in.
