This is a good charger, but not for everyone, as I discovered. The charger itself works great - especially when used with Google Pixel devices. Activating photo show mode when charging is a nice feature, along with a couple of the other features, such as ready access to Google Assistant and the larger playback controls when docked. One problem I've run into is that, since I have a magnetic receiver plate beneath my phone case, the charger will not work properly in the stand unless I remove the plate. The stand will easily charge through my case, but does not do well with the addition of the receiver plate. I'm sure it's an annoyance with all wireless chargers but, since I use the magnetic mount in my car so frequently, I find myself using other ways of charging so that I don't have to remove my case and receiver plate. For me, personally, I'd skip the extra expense of the Pixel Stand if given the choice again. But, if the time comes where I change phone mounts for the car, I certainly look forward to being able to use the charger and its features more often again.

Charges my phone quickly and the pixel 3's built in docked mode makes getting information quickly as simple as a glance. It also allows for the use of Google easy wake up function which illuminates the screen in a range of red to orange to yellow to simulate the rising sun. Most days this allows me to wake up gradually before my alarm goes off and jars me awake. It came with it's own power cord which was nice in that I was able to use the phones charger for travel.

Out of the box, this device works great with the Pixel 3 XL with a sizeable case on it. The device will charge in portrait and in landscape mode. With a Lenovo Smart Display in the same room, the device will recognize to send music and other responses to the louder speaker. On its own, the assistant functionality is great and the device works wonderfully on a nightstand. Another bonus is the included USB C cable and charger, you can use the one you already have with this.

Somewhat overpriced but does a great job. Fast charging and the intelligent display feature works well.

The Pixel Stand for Google Pixel Cell Phones far exceeded what I expected in wireless charging. As result of accidentally breaking my USB port on my Pixel 3XL phone, I needed a means to charge my phone. The charger works great, but the part I love is that fact that it turns my phone into a rolling picture frame of all pictures I take. Had I known I would have bought this charging option years ago. Awesome feature Google.

If you're an owner of a Pixel that supports wireless charging, this charger does offer a few hand bonuses over a regular wireless charging stand. I'm not sure if these bonuses are worth the price. I bought it on sale for nearly half off. At full price not sure if I'd recommend it. Newer Pixel phones are able to charge at a higher wattages than this charger puts out.

First off, the product would get 5 stars if the charging was faster. The charging is not "slow" but there are defiantly faster ways to charge your phone via wireless. With that said, it must be noted that the product is a few years old so you cant bash the charge rate tooooo much for it not being up to "today's" wireless charging speeds. Now, this charging stand works great! My Pixel 4XL sits perfectly in place without worry. If you're in the Google ecosystem this charging stand is kind of an auto include, I have multiple Google home devices and displays. I really enjoy the picture frame feature that displays on your phone as it charges, its exactly like the picture frame feature on Google home hubs, and the Google chrome cast. This feature alone is kind of the selling point, because you eventually ask yourself is it worth it to spend this much money on a charger that isn't even going to give you the fastest charging speeds? Well for me it is, seeing my newborn daughters face on my phone screen while I'm at work is basically like having a digital picture frame on my desk. Again if you're in the Google ecosystem and use Google photos, you have the all those photos and albums you created available to be displayed on your phone screen. In short, if you have a Google phone, and can afford it. Buy it. If you do not have a Google phone, you might want to look elsewhere.

Awesome charger for pixel devices. Although it'll give you the option to use your screen like a nest display for Google photos, that shows down the charging a lot. Best to charge it with the screen off. Other than that goes charger. Like that it stands your phone up in case you want to check something on it while charging.

Very good product and worked with a Google Pixel 3, LG V35 Thinq and Samsung Galaxy S10e. It's a bit more expensive but I bought it when it was on sale so a bit cheaper. Surprisingly it does not always allow full charge speed with Pixel 3 when it gets heated up. However, I add one star for being able to work smoothly with non-Pixel phones. All in all a very good product though could still be better.

I love this charger, it is very convinient and easy to use and set up, plus it's a modern and beautiful design.

Love this stand - it is a little expensive - but the ease of use is amazing. Works great w the Pixel 3 xl.

Ive never had a phone until the pixel 3 with wireless charging. This works as advertised and is a quicker charge than most wireless chargers. Obviously not as fast as the usbc fast charger but closer to the OG usb charger. Cool concept, I just wish I had a nightstand for this to be my alarm clock. I use it at work instead. It's cool but I'm glad I got it on sale for $60. I wouldn't pay $80 again for it now that I own it.

Wireless charging is super fast, and works even with my OtterBox Defender series case on my Pixel 3 and my wife's Pixel 3 XL. About a week ago, I took it to a friend's house in my backpack, and since then it sometimes has intermittent charge connection issues. I haven't used it in any advanced capacity, as we don't have a smart home setup yet. But I do love the nightlight and other Pixel features when on the dock.

Charges phone and makes it act as a mini google assistant with a display. Wish it was cheaper.

Admittedly, I purchased the Pixel Stand when it went on sale for 50% off because I felt that it was too expensive for wireless charging at full price. For owners of Pixel phones (Pixel 3 and later, I don't believe 3a/4a models support wireless charging), it does not get any better than this! I own a Pixel 3, and set up was a breeze. Simply plugged it in and placed my phone on the stand, which was immediately detected via the Bluetooth connection. The setup asked simple questions like whether I wanted my Google photo albums displayed on the phone while it charges, whether the phone should be on silent, whether the phone display should be turned off in the dark, and which smart home devices I want to control (select up to 4). The stand charges my phone to 100% in just over an hour. That's quite fast, and a perfectly good timeframe when charging by the bedside at night. When my bedroom lights are turned off, the phone display magically turns off, exactly as setup at the start. I love the display of photos when the phone is charging, which is similar to a Google nest hub photo display. I like not having to plug in a charging cable and simply placing the phone on a stand which is aesthetically pleasing and has a soft touch that muffles any plastic or metallic sound of the phone coming into contact with the stand. Build quality is excellent.

This charger works really fast and even works with the cover on the phone. Definitley worth it.
