Compared to the old Samsung wireless chargers this charger blows that one out of the water.

I have a ThinOptics plastic pod on the back of my Pixel3. When I first put the phone on the stand it states "Charging Rapidly". After a few minutes of charging rapidly, the message changes to "Charging Slowly". Sometimes it will change back to "Charging Rapidly". This can go back and forth like that until it is fully charged. I've tried it multiple times, sometimes with the glasses in the pod, sometimes with the glasses removed from the pod. Doesn't seem to make a difference. The ThinOptics pod is plastic and the glasses appear to be all plastic except for a thin wire that goes across the nose piece (I read that metal can be an issue with wireless charging). But the stand behaves the same way with or without the glasses in the pod. It may be unfair to take a couple stars away from the Stand because it may be the pod causing the problem, but everything I read before I bought it said it works through cases and the pod is no thicker than a standard case. I have no case on the phone - only the ThinOptics pod. Anyway, I guess I'll keep it - it ends up charging the phone albeit slower than I had expected when I bought it.

Works well and charges fast and has some nice extras when the phone is on the charger.

I picked mine up as an open box discount on a whim one day a few weeks ago. I had always disregarded wireless charging as a gimmick as plugging a device in isn't all that hard. BOY WAS I WRONG! The convenience factor is off the charts. My wife and kids love it and we always get compliments from guest. I plan on picking up a couple more for key locations throughout the house. I think they would make a great Christmas gift as well.

This is my first wireless charging solution and I can't believe I waited this long. Works flawlessly.

This is a fast, very effective charger that's perfect on the nightstand. I especially appreciate the fact that the phone automatically goes into do not disturb mode when it's placed on the charger. And while the charger puts everything to sleep, it still allows the alarm to ring each morning, unfortunately. As always, keep an eye out for deals on this. And I understand it will also work for the new Pixel 4.
