The additional features it enables are fantastic. I love the sunrise alarm. I decided to buy a second for work. Now I havea slideshow of my photos on my desk, better media controls without unlocking, etc. Maybe isn't worth it for everyone, but I'm happy with it.

It can sometimes not set on the stand properly and prevents charging.

* Take off your case and any attachments, like mounts or grips.
* Center your phone on the Pixel Stand.
* Use the cable and power adapter that came in the box with your Pixel Stand.
* Check that your phone’s screen is facing out, with the back against the Pixel Stand.

Nice dock with accompanying app

One of those things is a photo slideshow similar to the Google Home Hub. I picked up two of these, but I got them both on sale... At full price it's a little hard to swallow but if you can snag one on sale you should definitely get one!

Adds convenience and essentially get to use Google Now without needing to buy a Google Home Mini. Only concern is that my Pixel 3XL randomly seems to get very hot when charging with no discernable pattern. Hoping that Google can do a software solution to this soon.
