Very frustrating. And the bonus of showing pictures never seems to work right

Didn't charge through my pixel's lifeproof case

I have a lifeproof one because I'm a backpacker and need something durable so the case is needed for me. I tried to take back the stand but because I've been busy with a family emergency I missed the 15 day return date. I now am a proud owner of a decoration for my home. I love google products, google home, chromebook, pixel, all of them. This needs some work. Quality I'm rating as poor because it isn't functional through a case, something I feel like should be basic. However, I rated the other things higher because people with a normal case could get more use out of it.

Beware if you have a thick case.

I use a Moment case with my Pixel 3XL and it slips off the stands. I switched to a thinner case and it is fine.

Fast charging only half the time

I even exchanged it for another one but it did the same thing. I've read online that this is a known issue with either the pixel 3 or the pixel stand.

Pixel 5 charge's slow but has its positives..

It's convenient in the dark so your not searching for the hole.
