This product stopped working several months after purchase. Very disappointed.

I had to return it. Basically it would almost never charged my Pixel 3 rapidly.

It didn't work on my phone. Wish it was more compatiable.

This stand stopped working within months of purchase.

Pixel Stand is a wireless charger that works with any Qi-compatible device. It has a fast charging speed, a smart design, and a soft grip. It also has some exclusive features for Pixel phones, like photo slideshow, Google Assistant, and sunrise alarm. Pixel Stand is a smart and convenient charger.

Considering how much the Google flagship phone costs, it is important to provide as much protection as possible. However, what they don't tell you is that the only case that their Pixel Stand is truly compatible with is their own slim fabric cover. Although the device indicates that it works with most cases, it does not seem to work with all OtterBox Defender cases.. Keep in mind that this is a limitation of the Pixel Stand and not the case as I have been able to charge wireless using many other wireless chargers. It is only the Pixel Stand that does not work. Considering the cost of this wireless charging stand, I would suggest buying two of a higher quality Samsung wireless charging stand for the same price. I have confirmed that those work. Even if you are not planning on keeping your phone in a case or are going to use a case sold by Google, I would still not recommend this product based on the customer service and support. Google's resolution to this problem is to remove the phone from the case before placing it on the Pixel Stand. They also suggested the I buy a case from them directly rather then using the OtterBox Defender case recommended when purchasing m y Google Pixel 3 XL.

The whole point of a stand is so you can access your phone when it's on your desk or nightstand. Unfortunately to do anything useful, you have unlock your phone. Well the fingerprint reader is blocked on the back which means you have to enter your PIN every time. Same goes for using the Assistant, where many tasks require unlocking your phone. Android has the concept of a "trusted device" where you can select a device and make it so your phone remains unlocked when connected to it. For example, a bluetooth headset. But for some crazy reason, you can't add the Pixel Stand—something that would remain in PHYSICAL contact with your phone—as a trusted device!? I hope this is just an oversight by Google, as there's no security reason to NOT allow this. If a wireless bluetooth headset can be a trusted device, so should the Pixel Stand. Oh, and it's way overpriced for what you get. I only bought it when I saw it was on sale for $40…which is about what I think it's worth.

It works well with my Spigen case on my Pixel 3 XL. The extra software features used are also helpful.

Bought it from BestBuy 2 days ago and it seems to be doing a decent job at charging my pixel 3. The pixel 3 is in a Google fabric case. Also, it seems like it charges my wife's iPhone too but we didn't keep it on for a long time to determine charging speeds / rates.

For one, the cost of this thing is absurd. I got it half off, which feels right. That aside, the design is a problem because the lip that holds the phone is incredibly shallow. I am using a pixel 3, not even the xl, and in the official case it is way too easy for it to slip off. With the xl the added weight adds to how easy it is to knock off. Lastly, if you use a magnetic mount for your car you can forget about this as the charging will not work through the metal piece used to grip your phone. That is not a flaw of this device, but something to note if you mount your car in that way.

Before I get into this, I bought this along with my Pixel 3 XL and I was satisfied... At the time. Then I realized this doesn't allow you to use any kind of thick case. I have gone through many different cases attempting to get this stand to work along side it with the wireless charging and very few ugly cases work. ( If your okay with that then.. Alright..). Secondly, You can't just set it on it and walk away. No, it may sometimes charge your phone. 90% of the time it will have you move it just slightly in a direction so you can over move it and have to preposition it. My final issue is that it is a whopping $80 for a stand that can be substituted for a $20-40 stand that will do 5W instead of Google's 10W. With the money you save from not buying this, you can get a nice looking stand and possibly a good wireless car mount? I mean..even a case... Buy only to be let down.

Purchased 2 of these. They unfortunately did not work as advertised. Best Buy was great with a return though!

Really wanted this but it won't charge with my case on. I'd rather not break the screen of my phone just where I'll be able to wirelessly charge it plus it's really expensive.

Stand would never complete the setup process, kept stopping after the second step. It works as a charger but assistant is spotty and photo album unavailable. There is another pathway to device settings I found but it repeatedly says "assistant will be with you in just a sec" and then shuts down. When I chatted with Geek Squad they said take it to the store for replacement - that was their only advice. Of course the store doesn't have one in stock and I hate shipping things back. I'd be happy to change my review if I felt like I was getting any support from Best Buy for this purchase.

Just received my Pixel Stand. Set up was easy but troubles with my phone soon followed My phone no longer responded to "Hey Google" (whether on the stand or off of the stand.) A restart fixed that problem off the stand, but the problem returned when I placed it back on the stand. The Pixel Stand disabled voice control of Google Assistant on my Pixel 3. A feature that was my main reason for getting this wireless charger.

I wanted to use/like this in the worst possible way. I researched prior to purchasing to see if the added depth of the case would be an issue or not but details were scarce. Unfortunately, the wireless charging doesn't work while the phone is in the case. The phone initially detects the base but the app never fully launches and it gets stuck in a detection loop. I'm returning mine tomorrow.
