I liked this film because of the concept. Aliens declare war on Earth after receiving a video of kids playing different video game. Fan of Sandler's style of film making is present here. The cast is good as is the story.

If you spent time at an arcade years ago you will recognize the games selected to be played here. This was when games were not about blood and guts and about icons in winning the game as you eliminate them. Interesting twist as how they used the games.

Like most all sandler movies there are moments of adult references that could be done without however, all things concidered it was a good family film. Great for an 80's gamer lots of great gamer trivia and references.

I read reviews of the movie when it was out in theaters and was not sure about this purchase, but I am happy I bought this one. It was fun seeing old video game characters from my childhood, and hearing them make sounds and noises that I remembered. It's a great movie, so don't miss it!

My 7 year old loves this movie. The humor is Adam Sandler level so it works for both adults and kids. There are a few moments that will go over their heads, but overall it's a good popcorn flick with some Nostalgia.

This was a good movie. Not amazing but was still enjoyable to watch. We did watch with our almost 10 & 12 year olds. There are some questionable things in the film for the younger audience, but overall it's not bad.

if your old enough you will remember all these games, when and where you first played them, how you had to get up and leave the house to go to the arcade to play the latest video game, not like today how every hot video games is basically released into your living room via the internet.

Bought this in metal pak since it was the only way to get both bluray DVD for home HDTV and regular DVD which we use for a portable DVD player on the road. We have seen the movie several times over the holiday break without ever getting tired of it! A must for Pacman and Donkey Kong fans!

I had heard a good amount of negative feedback regarding this movie, and found that it was actually very entertaining. Sandler and the cast are very entertaining. The video game references and soundtrack are awesome!

I mainly purchased this item to donate to our public library, but did get a chance to finally watch this and it was great. At first seeing the trailer I thought it was going to be mediocre. But yet again Adam Sandler and Kevin James were great. I loved Q-Bert in the movie, he was great.

Pixels is a guilty pleasure. It's a goofy adventure spoofing the alien invasion genre. But it has to click with you, If not, you will be a hater for life. That's the secret on how to like this movie.

This is not an Adam Sandler movie, he's the lead, but really just part of a whole cast. The film has a ton of video game references, new and old, that anyone can enjoy. The action is fun, no blood and cussing, and the effects look great. You'll be smiling through the movie.

My grandchildren took me to see this movie and it was much better than I had anticipated. When the movie was released on Blu-ray my grandchildren were anxious to see it again and I decided not to disappoint them.

Saw this movie at a free prescreen. Thought it was pretty funny. Adam Sandler's movies havent really been funny since Mr. Deeds. This movie was pretty good though. If you enjoy playing video games you will like it.

I purchased the movie Pixels for my daughter as a Christmas present. We originally saw the movie when it was released at the theaters. We enjoyed it so much I purchased the DVD so she can watch it anytime.

Has my doubts about this type of potential cheesy movie but I was willing to take a risk with Netflix. I am an avid gamer and absolutely loved it! Had to explain parts to my young children but now they want to go to an arcade to play these games featured. Ordered the movie that night!

My kids and I loved this movie. I especially love the fact it came with 2 movies, one in blue-ray, and the other as a regular DVD. It allows you to choose which one to use especially for those who still have a DVD player and don't have a Blue-Ray yet. Thank you for the double option!

Purchased as a gift for my husband after we rented it online and he loved it. Really enjoyed watching it, since it was funny and witty and had an interesting plot line. Not the best movie ever, but entertaining.

This movie is good throwback to the 80s video games era when achieving the high score was all that mattered. The cast was great and I enjoyed myself more than I would have thought based on the previews.

Don't be expecting an Oscar here, but it does do a great job in keeping you entertained throughout the movie. If you're a fan of old school games with wacky story lines, then pixels might be right up your alley.
