This is my new demo reference disc to showcase my Samsung 65" UHD TV and blu-ray player. The photography is fantastic and the nature segments are as good as the first Planet Earth. The soundtrack is a lot better than I expected, Great surround sound.

Very educational and entertaining, bought this as a gift since I wanted my friend and his family to watch Our Planet but did not have Netflix. People would appreciate the earth after watching this.

I'm new to the Planet Earth series, but anything narrated by David Attenborough is always a joy to watch. I went directly for the 4K version. Incredible! the visuals, the sound, and the location photography made me look at many sequences twice.

Planet earth 2 is the best 4k uhd bluray to date for really showing off the drastic differences between bluray and 4k bluray. Planet earth 2 paired with my lg oled gave me a surreal experience and it is the best 4k uhd period for sheer wild Factor

I have the original Planet Earth on DVD, and watched a bit of it for comparison. I found that there is no better example of how far we've come in just a few years. The new BBC series is available in 4K, and don't buy it any other way.

The way they shot this was amazing. They got up real close and the quality is just so much better than the already awesome first one. The narration is also great. I love to have this on while just around the house. It has such a pleasant feel to it.

I bought this specifically to see the show in 4K HDR. I saw it when originally broadcast but wanted to see it again in 4K with HDR. It did not disappoint. The snowy mountain scenes and many other shots really show off HDR on my OLED TV.

I own many of Attenborough's nature series, and this one is possibly the best, if for no other reason the amazing new cameras and technologies that have allowed the filming of so many types of situations never possible before. Very much worth it.

This Planet Earth II in 4k is amazing. I kept on watching these discs in the set over and over and still do not get tired of how amazing everything was shot in for quality. Of course I got to learn a few things bout nature too.

This program sets a benchmark for 4K programming. The sheer beauty of the cinematography on display is a sight to behold. I watched this on a B7 OLED and it's just breathtaking. Very good content. Amazing how they shoot nature and wildlife.

If you have a 4K TV and a 4K bluray player, you owe it to yourself to own Planet Earth II. Tip: Turn on Auto Motion Plus if you have it off, as it really adds to the feeling of actually being among these incredible creatures and locations.

This blu ray takes a fascinating look at our planet from different habitats. The picture quality is excellent and can only be improved upon if you have the 4K UHD set. As far as 1080P goes, this is absolute eye candy and definite demo material.

It was a great sequel to the original. Fun with seeing different animals with the newer ways they can film vs the older Planet Earth. Good for all the family. Unless they dont like snakes, the snake scene on the beach can make the skin crawl!!!

Purchased new OLED TV and Planet Earth is perfect DVD to view all the features of OLED. Wildlife scenes from around the world are nothing short of stunningly beautiful. I have Planet Earth 1 as well which came out about 10 years ago.

The first 4k that compares with the demos you see in the stores when shopping for TV's. I have a couple of 4k movies that don't look much different than regular blue-ray. Well this one does by far beautiful cinematography.

What an amazing series! Everything looks spectacular in 4K and HDR. The narration and music works so well with what is being seen. If you love nature or wanna get some real use out of your new 4K tv, you cannot go wrong with Planet Earth II.

The best picture I've ever seen on a TV. The animals were photographed so perfectly, you could distinguish each animal in a herd of thousands. The color brightness was unbelievable. Better than the picture you see at the store.

When I feel like chilling out and de-stressing, I put Planet Earth on and I become absorbed in the beauty of our amazing planet. David Attenborough's incredible narration makes it all the more enjoyable. This is a must for any nature lover!

Got this is on sale, and even though the dvd case was completely broken upon arrival, I'm leaving 5 stars despite BB. Super pretty on my LG B8. It's also got that David Attenborough guy...

Very well done documentary covering how wild life survive in various parts of our planet. Also learned very much about how the planet contains so many different climates. Especially great in 4K.
