    I know back in the 50s and 60s the Original Planet of the APes were men in ape costumes, but I thought with modern technology they could've been more apelike then a 50-50 ape-human hybrid. Too much of a love story also.

    Tim Burton's vision for Planet was interesting, but I still prefer Charlton Heston's version of the human character, as opposed to Mark Wahlberg's, who gets stranded on a ape-filled Earth. Very good special f/x!!
