While the first film in the series does a smart job of rebooting the Planet of the Apes franchise, it left a bit to be desired. Fortunately, when Matt Reeves took over for parts 2 & 3 the series really became quite something. Not only is this a truly exceptional series of films, they look wonderful in their 4K presentation. I believe they're sourced from 2K material so technically they aren't true 4K but are the best we'll get. The amount of detail in the images is astounding. Great films with a demo quality presentation = must buy.

The first movie is amazing . What a great story. Amazing 4K visuals and colors. I got this on sale for 28.99 and an amazing value for 3 4K movie trilogy set. Nothing special on the packaging but how can you complain for this amazing price. Thanks Best Buy!

Best version of the of the series.. the great actors of the older versions was nice but this has great sound and acting .. the visuals was great.. very emotional because of the story and acting

I purchased this because I liked the first two and wanted to upgrade my blu rays to the 4k version. The War of the Planet of the Apes also does not disappoint. The upgrade to 4k does provide more detail but I still have not watched Dawn of the Planet of the Apes in 4k yet (still may be my favorite of the three). If you are collecting 4k and enjoy the movies this is a good set to have!

The digital special effects in these films are quite good. It is a great reimagining of the original releases.

The 2nd and 3rd movies in this trilogy had a whole lot of work and time put into building the sets. In 4k you can see the the hairs on the apes and all the detail in the set. Andy Serkis does an amazing job bringing Ceasar to life.

This trilogy is without a doubt, one of the best out there. Every movie surpasses the other one for a lot! These look great in 4K and sound great as well. The packaging came with a poster, and three individual cases for each movie, not a special set but it does its job

One of the best films series in modern history. Though no film in the trilogy is native 4k, due to the extensive VFX, they all look very good. The HDR color grading really makes the difference here. I managed to pick the box set up for $25, which is a steal given the quality of the films themselves.

These are three of my favorite movies and as I said in the title this is the best trilogy since the original Star wars. The first 2 in 4k form look good enough but it is the third that really stuns with its presentation. If you have never seen these treat yourself abd check them out.

Love the movies. One of my favorite types of movies. I watch all of them over and over again. Never get tired of watching the Planet of the Ape movies. Would recommend these movies to anyone to watch. Ola Stovall

Never seen the original, but I’m aware of the ending. This is a fantastic prequel trilogy and very underrated as far as trilogies go. Great picture quality. Gets better each movie. Terrific performances. Audio gets better with each installment. Same goes for Picture quality.

Amazing movies that look excellent in 4K! Comes with a cool poster inside that details the events of the saga. A great price to get this for makes it an easy busy. Highly recommended!

All three of the films on the 4K discs in this set are absolute lookers, but the digital copies included are not 4K! While not a huge deal breaker, I still find it unfair to relegate the 4K versions to the discs only. Additionally, this is one of many 4K movie sets that simply repackage the individual releases in a bulky cardboard case. Again, not a huge deal breaker, but I would have preferred something that differentiated it from the individual releases.

Nice to have the trilogy, Rise was good, Dawn was better and War was the best of the trilogy. Would rank just behind the Batman triology, with War coming in behind The Dark Knight, as far as individual movies. I had previously purchased War, but the trilogy was a few dollars cheaper than buying Rise and Dawn individually.

Love all three of these films. The 4k picture is well noticeable. Great sound and the fact that you get all three at a great price is awesome. If you have two of these on Blu-ray it is worth buying them on 4k you won’t regret it

Good movies and great value, also comes with digital codes if that's your thing! I have only seen the first twonmocies and Rise is definitely a great movie. I can tell the CGI will not age well but as of right now it's servicable.

Excellent 4k set to have, includes digital codes; however code for "Rise" movie is not 4K but rather HD only. I could see this anywhere on the packaging, but other two movies include 4k versions

Such an amazing trilogy they really knocked it out of the park with these movies i love them all and for $24.99 for the whole set you can't go wrong plus it looks amazing on 4k HDR it also sounds amazing so yea definitely worth the money

This trilogy has been mastered in wonderful 4K, and looks great. On top of that, the trilogy is an amazing watch, and is just as good as Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight trilogy, it shows the evolution of the apes, and does it in a great way!
